Given your description of the week you have had, it is completely understandable. Here's hoping you have a much better than average weekend. Wait until that first check goes out. Then it may feel different. It’ll evolve later into wonderment when the rents around town far exceed that monthly payment. Then when that last bit of money leaves and the burden is lifted, it’ll feel very weird. I still haven’t gotten used to not writing that check at the first of the month. At least I assume you were renting prior to now. That seems to be my impression of a lot of forumites.

We've been staying with my parents for the last year. It's time to move out while we all still love each other.

Although the size of a "great dragon" is usually impressively large, most of us have run into gaming situations where a magical great dragon appears as a size other than the customary one. GEM Agreed. "Great" is probably the worst example word they could have used. @kitchen_wolf just shared a picture of great black cats, but black great cats would probably be panthers. 5
haldir
Well, it's 730 here so unless my wife & daughter got a late start today, I highly doubt they are coming home tonight. Which, tbh, I don't mind. My wife doesn't do trips all that much, I mean here I am going to RCon, or lately LVO & she says home. On her vacation weeks, she stays home. So hey, she can take all the time she wants!! Granted daughter goes back to work on Sunday, so they have to be home tomorrow. Told my Saturday players that the game is on for tomorrow, so we'll be playing for a few hours. Dinner has been fixed for my son & I (Taco Friday!!!) & here in about half an hour, Portland Winterhawks/WHL hockey start anew!!! Go 'hawks!!

Lord of the Dish Pit
Does anyone know if Reaper is doing the Ghoulie Bags this year? I haven't seen anything in the store about them.

Those little ones are utterly adorable. Kuroneko
Also, a massive thank you for all the blue sky photos everyone. We got up early today and actually had a little bit of tolerable weather! Super windy though, but that just means more chance of some rare birds turning up in the area. The dark lines in the water is part of the 200+ group of Tufted Ducks which are going through their eclipse moult right now. They're banding together for safety as they can't fly at the moment. So a nice little walk, even if I was a bit wobbly. We got back just in time before the heavy rain started again and it looks set to be dull and drookit for the next wee while. Hope you all have an awesome weekend! Edited October 2, 2021 by Kuroneko 13
