So I'm behind (about a month's worth of watching) on my weekly watching of AEW's Weds night wrestling show, mainly cause, I'm at the FLGS for game night that night so I record it & just did get around to watching the show. Since I'm so behind I wasn't able to watch their new Friday night show as well, so I've using DirecTV's on demand for that one. Now they just had a big ppv over Labor Day weekend. Since I'm behind + I was at RCon that weekend, I just told my wife to record it for me, which she did. I'm finally up to that ppv watching & I go to recordings & it's not in there...ok then? I cycle through it a few times & again nothing. I go to purchases, which there have only been 3 (the last 3 AEW PPVs) & I select the one I just got. It says "deleted by G." on it. Who the elf is G? I'm assuming it's prob a DirecTV tech that goes & deletes out cash purchase ppv so you can't watch them multiple times, but then again, I might be wrong. It might have been someone in my house, but why would it say "deleted by G."????

All, I know is I'm thoroughly PO'ed at this one. Major event & what I saw in the 1 PPV I've ordered, some of the best performances that AEW puts on are their PPV stuff + I was really looking forward to this one. After dealing with DirecTV's "help" before on the last ppv I recorded, I'm kissing this one goodbye. That makes 2 ppv I've ordered, handed the cash over to my wife (it's her account) & have come out empty handed. I'm gonna give em one more ppv, if I'm not able to watch that, they can kiss my business goodbye.

That sucks, that was a really good PPV (from what I read, didn't buy it myself). Is there another outlet you buy them from? Doesn't Bleacher Report allow for streaming (no idea how long they'll let you have access to it).

That's a lot of rasslin' to be catching up on. Their new show Rampage is pretty good. Has its rough moments, but generally pretty good. But for me, nothing beats the Arcade Anarchy match from earlier this year. I mean, seriously, slamming someone on Legos? Just genius creativity.

Captain Kirk will "Boldly go where no septuagenarian has ever gone before.".

Yes, William Shatner will be going sub-orbital on a Blue Origin Launch sometime next week

Too bad the complete OG cast of Star Trek can't make the trip.

Isn't he a nonagenarian now?

As most of you know, you can buy just about anything under the sun at Walmart. So, to save trouble, I wrote everything on one list today--all my food and hobby items. I'm making terrain for Ghost Archipelago: Lost Colossus and to me it screams "Greek". I've been buying Halloween bits and bobs to use for terrain, just like I always come home with an armload of bottle brush trees from the dollar store every Christmas season. Today's shopping list read something like:

Milk, eggs, plaster, paper towels, floor cleaner, knife blades, fingers and toes, dog food.

On reflection, I probably should use different lists.

Ah. Am I not, in fact, the only person who puts 'Toes' on the list when I mean Potatoes?

My personal notation is "pot."

If necessary, I will specify what kind I need, depending on what I am cooking, as in bakers, boil, mashers, sweet, etc.  Although I rarely do scratch mashed potatoes unless it is for a large family dinner.  Ore-Ida has some really good instant potatoes any more, not like the wallpaper paste they used to market.

Especially good if you "juice" the recipe with a little sour cream and extra butter.
