While Grump was running his afterschool game last, I went to see the strip show his coworker is in.

He was right, he would NOT have been able to get that put of his head.

Now it's stuck in MINE  She was ALL over the place.

Also, she and her girlfriend sound like the Chipmunks.

The woman concerned is... enthusiastic.

And, on reflection, their may be certain Chipmunk like qualities to her voice.

Unconnected, to anything, really - I am thinking about having the folks in the after school game encounter Ace Whemmer (what a guy!) - based, not all that loosely, on Ace Rimmer.

Let's have a dose of what happened on this date for October 21st:

  • 1600 – Tokugawa Ieyasu defeated the leaders of rival Japanese clans in the Battle of Sekigahara, becoming shōgun of Japan and establishing the Tokugawa shogunate that will rule until Emperor Meiji restores imperial power in 1868.

  • 1854 – Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, and a staff of 38 nurses were sent to the Crimean War.

  • 1983 – The metre (or meter) was defined as the distance light travels in a vacuum in 1/299,792,458 of a second (it was originally defined in 1793 as one ten-millionth of the distance from the equator to the North Pole along a great circle).
