So, my recovery is slowly trundling along (just like myself) and I ended up going on my biggest adventure since everything went downhill early in the summer. A 6 mile hike and a mighty hill of 200m was attempted and conquered, with only a few stops to catch my breath and to have a rejuvenations cup of tea. Photos are spoilered for those on low data.

The walk started near a small town with a very interesting DIY store!

The walk started next to a small loch, which is always a bonus, in my opinion.

It quickly went up into forestry land. The main bonus of this is that you get a decent path/road to walk on. We get so much rainfall here that our main walking website actually has a rating for the "Bog Factor" on its walks. Thankfully, this walk had the lowest possible rating, which is fine by me.

So it was time for a nice civilized cup of tea. Yes, we take a washable plastic sheet with us because there isn't always anything to sit on and it's never fun getting a wet butt!

On the way down we found a Ruby Tiger Moth caterpillar trundling it's way towards a muddy ditch so we promptly helped it out and put it somewhere drier.

All in all, it was really nice. I just need to get my hands working properly and I'll be all set! Thanks for looking everybody!

I love how Kuroneko is like "yeah, I'm still recovering so I'll only go for a 6 mile walk today".

Whelp, that was fun. Normal annual checkup with the doc. Normal blood draw for me.

Until I passed out.

I remember having about a hundred dreams in that 20 seconds. Very disconcerting! Took two hours laid out on an exam table for my blood pressure to get to a normal range and be sent home.

So that’ll for it for my day. See y’all tomorrow!

Designing a tee for the cops game.

Big Blue deserves his own t shirt.

Maybe the muffin goblin as well. "You will try. You will like. You will buy more." The most laid back goblin I have ever met. Not pushing a hard sell, just giving cops a free donut and letting nature run its course. ::P:

If anybody understands what the canadians did in WW2 it's the Netherlands. One of my dad's cousins brought back a war bride from there and one of his uncle's almost did.

Charity shops really need to start charging more for DVD's, at 25p each I'm basically buying anything that looks mildly interesting.

Today I picked up The House With A Clock In It's Walls (Which actually isn't a bad film if you like Jack Black).

I thought it was a pretty good movie.

Well looking at Tammeraut's Fate in Ghost of Saltmarsh, I see it's for level 9th level, which is 1 level higher then what Final Enemy will end at. Ok, np I'll either level the party up twice during Final Enemy or run an adventure, oh wait, I've been waiting for this one! I'm finally gonna run "Tasha's Kiss" for them at 8th level. This is one adventure I've wanted to run, but my players never get to the level I wanna run it at, as you can vary the level but they never make it to the level I wanna run it at. Something always happens to the game (covid, stop playing, etc etc). Noticing the level, I went back to Final Enemy & I see it's for level 7. My players are at 6 right now. I was gonna throw in a "Halloween" adventure between the Abbey & Final Enemy called "The Haunting of Owlbear Lodge", mainly as I wanted to run a Halloween-ish adventure but we were right in the middle of Abbey, so better late then never.

Now anther hurdle, trying to find minis for Tasha's Kiss, as there are some very unique encounters in that one.

FYI: 12 Days of Reaper starts Dec 1st.  :)

Reaper is going to offer 2 Cyber Monday deals, a paint cup with random paint, and a water bottle stuffed with random paint. Current release colors, no OOP stuff.  I forget the prices.  They are also doing warehouse cleanout, it sounded like some random items are being found and put up on the web store in very limited numbers.  You might get lucky.

New 12 color holiday paint set is coming out for $36.  It comes in a plastic sleeve this year because foam for paint cases is no longer available.  Triads will also be available.

I love the

walkers shortbread biscuits!

We get them in a large tin at Costco/

A plus is the tins make for excellent long term storage for paints.

From what I've been hearing elsewhere, the Skyrim Anniversary Edition's release has been a bug ridden nightmare. PC, X Box, and Ps4-5 users reporting a variety of game breaking things going on, on PC having to do with mods breaking, X Box getting black screen probably due to the inclusion of the Creation Club addons that come as part of the new edition taking them well above the 5 gb limit reserved for mods. On Ps4, the Creation Club stuff already tended to cause the "0k Bug" where save corruption kicked in and the only recourse was to delete all saves, mods, and the game itself before doing a series of reboots as they were replaced one by one. This being the result of conflict between the way Sony and Bethesta have things programed, even without mods or CC content it's a ticking time bomb at the best of times, and with the entirety of the CC stuff now being added in with the new edition, there's been a lot of reports of 0k bug kicking in at the very first auto save in Helgen....

These things are appearing from the simple 1.6 patch update on Ps4 (the mandatory nature of which has caused me to not only disable auto updates but also to take the ps4 offline for the forseeable future), the 20 buck upgrade, and users who bought the full price AE on Ps5.

So if you haven't already "upgraded" I would strongly suggest that you wait a week or so for at least some of this to get sorted out, especially if you play on console.

I'm glad I'm south of you. I piddled around all fall and am not quite ready for that yet. We got a little skiff just enough to make the ground a bit white and it's supposed to melt over the weekend.
