I have no idea when or how I managed to sign up for these migraines, but I'd like to stop the free trial now please :zombie: Thank goodness I don't get ones that bad very often.

In better news, Happy St David's Day everyone!

I even managed to drag myself out of bed to see the dawn, which is always a bonus.

Started using Duolingo's free aspects to try to learn a new language and keep the brain working. Anyone else ever use it? I'm thinking of using it to also brush up on my German that I haven't used in the past... well, it's been a while.

I started it last week for Spanish, so we will both see how it works.

I'm using it for Romanian (because hey, why not?) but I'll also go through it for the German too at some point. Cheers to learning!

Beautiful Sunrise.

For my Migraine condition [I've had a headache since Feb of 2007 when my encounter with the drunk driver occurred and it sometimes goes into a full blown migraine] I take a bottle of Powerade, similar to Gatorade but with a more potent electrolyte package, and extra vitamin B Complex.  Helps most of the time.  When it doesn't it's prescription drug time.

Good Luck

if you have the option to wear a cat head helmet when defeating a boss monster, you should always take that option

Especially if the cat is still inside.

Gives an extra D4 claw/claw/bite.

You just have to make sure it is directed against the boss and not your head.

Husband has been throwing out the idea for a small wedding this year for our 10th. I found a place in Tacoma that does elopements for $100 for an hour. I don't think we'll really even need that long as long as everyone is on time. /And/ it comes pre-decorated. We are way behind on planning this thing. We want to do it for cheap. We don't need food or drinks. We don't need video. We have a photographer. We have an officiant. If we all want to spend more time together we'll go to a restaurant or something nearby.

I was using it for German a while back, and I occasionally remember and think, 'Gee, I should go back to that' ...

It seemed pretty useful...

If that sign is where I think it is, I've driven past it.

There's a road/numbered highway [CA 127] that runs through the Amargosa Valley and the community of Shoshone, adjacent to Death Valley from Baker, Cal on I-15 to a junction in Nevada where it meets US 95.  I've traveled that road several times.
