Well I will include a little note.

I'm a bit humbled by the award I just got and this comment.

I mean I have drawers full of minis, I think I can spare a few if it means I can make someone happy this way and lure them into the hobby....

Also mentioned this forum, who knows maybe we can even get a new member here..

Generosity and kindness should always be celebrated and encouraged. The world needs more it.

So, the reason I’ve felt like garbage for the last month is because I’ve had a sinus infection the entire time. I have antibiotics now, I just need them to kick in.

Here's hoping the meds kick in and kick the infection out real fast.

Had to buy a new printer, which showed up on my doorstep as promised today.

Epson 2800 series ecotank.

Install went easy peasy.

First thing printed after the setup and test pages, tickets to see Justin Hayward, lead singer for the Moody Blues later this month when he appears in California. ::):

I found it during a random image search, but it's a purpose made thing....

...called a CAT CAT 😹 ::D:🙀

You know this calls for a Luke hanging off the bottom. I mean what cat isn't going to resist that!!

And as all tabletop/RPG gamers know, a CAT CAT will definitely lay waste to whatever it wants, Rebel base or otherwise.

I do believe this faction is called Scum & Villainy in X-wing.::D:

Good night at the FLGS, thou with the MtG: Commander tables packed tonight, the game room was very loud & I could barely hear some of my players. Also anther rpg table has been set up, that a friend of mine is running. Richard"head" is part of that table & he already causing problems at the table. Last week one player (anther friend of mine) offed a bugbear/half-orc NPC saying that he attacks bugbears on sight as they killed his family (aka roleplaying/origin story) & Richard"head" didn't take kindly to that (why I have no idea, since it's a monster & he treats all monster races as the enemy). He told that table he was going to re-do his character as he didn't like the 5e druid & the DM said he was ok with that. So what does Richard"head" bring to the table but a bugbear (I have no idea of the class). Mainly to irrate the friend of mine. He ended up just dropping out the table as he felt it was a personal attack on him. Since no one is paying to play anymore, the store didn't want to do anything about it. So he joined my table. I'll make an exception if our table is over 7 people for this guy as I've known the guy since I started DMing at the FLGS.

As far as my table went, like I said it was a fun night, but hard to hear due to the noise. Party made their way into the priory, as they got a tour of the place. The monk that was leading the tour left the party on their own & they did some investigating. Actually the rogue left the group on his own (he's done it before) & he discovered in the kitchen was some ground up meat. Making a high investigation check, he determined it was humanoid in nature. The rogue then proceeded to check doors, where the rest of the party decided to investigate the main worship hall as it has 2 sarcophagi holding the remains of the founders of the priory. It was at this time he found the only locked door in the place. Inside was the 2nd in command yuan-ti, along with 3 acolytes. The ranger in the party decided to join him vs going to the hall. They both tried their best to explain why they had unlocked the door (ie, "oh I'm looking for the bathroom, etc etc). Since the guy can't be lied to, he just attacked them.

It went bad for the rogue as I have no idea why he delayed vs attacking. Next up was the 2nd in command, & he cast "suggestion" I told the player to grovel on the ground until the 2nd in command was happy". He failed his save & dropped prone. Next up was the ranger & he fired a shot at the 2iC, but did very little damage. After him was the acolytes & they swarmed the rogue. All 3 hit & combat continued.

With the group over in the worship hall they proceeded to do their investigation, but were interrupted by the "tour guide" & his entourage. As they found out from a sending stone that party had stolen something from the dockmaster (a 100 gp diamond in his lockbox). Also, the ID of the person that headed up the investigation for the PCs. Some words were exchanged & while talking with him, I let the party rolls for perception checks to notice that his eyes were gold & were slit like a snakes, as this guy was a yuan-ti pureblood hybrid (not a PB, but along the path, just at a slower pace to keep himself involved in more affairs with humankind). After a few exchanges, combat started. The bard player got off a decent distraction spell that frozen 2 acolytes, the monk cast "fear" & hit the entire party besides the cleric & the party's employer (who in turn is a master thief (going off 5e NPCs stats)). They all ran away, far enough thou, so they can make saves as the monk isn't in view (or at least wasn't). 2 of acolytes broke off from the group & went around the building to enter the other side, so the master thief & cleric are both surrounded right now. The bard made his save, so he is out of fear, as did the necromancer, thou both are not in combat as they dashed for a round. The fighter is the only person still under the fear spell & as long as she stayed behind the sarcophagus, she can make her save, as the monk yuan-ti is in view if she moves out from it.

In the other battle, the ranger player had to leave (he's a teenager aka school night), but the guy who left the other table was with the main group, I let him move over to the rogue's encounter, mainly so the rogue wouldn't get slaughtered. Currently they are both in the hallway & 2 of the 3 acolytes are still alive, along with the 2nd in command. He has eldritch blast (3 beams) is pounding away at both rogues with it. The groveling rogue is trying to get away but since the 2nd in command isn't happy, well he is SoL (I love the suggestion spell ).

We had to end the night at the start of the 3rd of combat, so next Weds we'll pick it up there. I'm hoping these 2 combats will teach the party "DON'T SPLIT THE PARTY!!"

Love my eco-printer. I think I've bought a ink bottle, a month before RCon last year. I bought the printer in 2019 or 2020, so yah very long time. I've yet to buy any colored bottles, thou they are getting low & probably will before I start printing for RCon this year. I did have problems setting mine up as I wasn't sure on the "priming" part of the ink & I did it before adding all the bottles, only after I did the black & it totally screwed up the install. Epson was awesome about it thou & sent out a new printer, free of charge as I did fill out the warranty card when I brought the printer home, first thing. They said the other one should be recycled & I found the state approved place in town.

Oh hey, I almost forgot, around 830 this morning at work, we had a power surge & I noticed the store lighting was powered to when we were bought out by Supervalu (supermarket chain out of Minnesota I think) aka power/money saving time!! Found out later a squirrel (he will be remembered, but he knew his mission!!!🐿️) had chewed on the transformer wires & fried the system. After talking with my wife over in the butcher block, the store even went darker when Idaho Power came out to work on the line. There were parts of the store that was pitch black, mainly the backroom, but the service deli was dark, as was the produce backroom & the bakery was semi-dark. I will admit, there was a worker back there doing something with a cake at the time. The lights to the bathroom thou were shining brightly thou (as was the bathrooms themselves). ha ha

Luckily we were off when the 2nd surge hit. Not so much a surge but the worker taking the store off the generator power. Fun times!!

So I have put op some minis for sale on a Dutch version of Ebay.

Every now and then I sell a few to make room for minis I will paint.

Yesterday a younger girl showed interest in some minis.

I made a nice price for her, and she replied money was tight and she had to let it go, maybe next time, no problem.

Then this morning she returned and let me know she could buy this one bigger mini, her mother would pay for it.

It turned out this kid is a DM, likes to read, and paint and entertain people, she will pay when her mother gets home...

I decided to give her a little surprise, she will get what she paid for...and I will throw in all the minis she showed interest for yesterday.

I want to encourage her to keep this hobby up.

That's so nice of you! She'll remember this kindness for a good while.
