We should have brought our OPR armies, I've found four others, just so far.

I will try to Google-hunt it, but what is an OPR Army?  Could one be built from Bones Core sets?

One Page Rules.

So far as I know, they're minis-agnostic.  But they have been developing .stl files for 3D printing.  To my, admittedly limited, understanding, OPR is basically a "refuge" for ex-GW fans.  I mean, I've heard good things about the rules but that doesn't change the basic beginnings.

Discourse Miniatures has talked them up several times on her YouTube channel (which is where I'm getting most of my information from).

I'm really enjoying the encounters for the next realm in the Witchlight game. Pixies, a child Robin Hood character & a character the players have met when they were kids themselves (when we ran the Adventure League Zero-Session adventure). They will also meet up with a old friend, only problem with this, there is just 1 person still playing from that encounter, so a bit bittersweet when it happens. Also the non-book adventures I found on DM's Guild have been fun stuff as well. A D&D look on Capt'n Hook & of course the spider storyteller with the glasses. I may change my mind about using @TaleSpinner's spider in leu of using the huge based spider Reaper released in Bones 4? or so.

I still need to the hag's area, but I can hold off on that one for now.

their stuff tends to roughly map to the available minis from GW or mantic. but the entries are all generic enough that there is little issue using any minis you feel like.

I've used a mix of mantic, reaper, and stargrave minis for it.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the basic rules and the army lists are free, so if you're not sure if you want to try it just google their page and give it a read.

Kind of a lousy week here. The machines at work are acting up again, and have been all week. Last week one of the drivers overestimated his clearance by quite a bit and smashed out the entire door frame. Not the bottom panel on the roll-up door, which is usually the Red Alert! Abort! Abort! warning, but the entire door. Significant structural damage was caused, and that bay no longer has a door. I think the boss has been shutting off the water at night to keep the public from getting a free car wash. Things have been very slow this month, and I'm stuck at home because I'm too broke to travel.

Yesterday I spent all afternoon organizing the hobby closet. It was long overdue, but I still didn't find my missing minis. I don't know if they weren't shipped, or if I mistakingly binned them with last week's recycling.

The little 'puter is pooched. I had it on my lap in bed, eager to read the new mountain of Paizo Humble Bundle I bought, when I realized it was uncomfortably hot. I unplugged it, turned it off and took out the battery, which was hot! I ordered a new one today, $35 not the $200 I was expecting, so that's good. We'll try it and see, the battery holds absolutely no charge any more. It could also be the fan. There's one of those mobile computer nerds in the village, so if the battery doesn't solve it, I'll leave it at the library for surgery and he can bill me when he's done.

We're going to work our way though the Witch King and some Easterling Black Dragon proxies this weekend. I've got the TTCombat halfling deluxe village coming, so next will be hobbits, which will be a fun, colourful break from the ringwraiths and their 50 shades of grey. I'm hoping to kitbash the houses into proper burrows. I've also settled on a terrain I want to make for the Croc Tales magazine that will hopefully be released with the models. I'd like to make a wrestling ring, or swamp.

My brother (the one I actually like) just told me that there’s a very strong likelihood that he has bulbar ALS.

So very sorry, Red.   Here's hoping it turns out to be something else, anything else.

When was the last time you used a can of compressed air to blow out the air vents?

If it's been more than 6 months you should probably "air it out".  Do this outside and you might want to wear a dust mask.  If you can arrange it for a time with a gentle breeze so much the better.

Good Luck

Yeah, you know it’s bad when you’re praying for a tumor.

He’s going in for testing early next week, so we’ll learn more then.

Meanwhile, at the farm... (J/K, I'll buy it a can of air at the hardware store, thanks for the advice.)
