Here's hoping it isn't!

The Universe needs to give you a break from all this stuff.

Wouldn't the dime come out the natural way without damage?

Is it really necessary to remove it?

Hope Sephy will be alright!

Unfortunately, the dime is stuck in her esophagus. If it could get down to her stomach, it is likely that she would just poop it out.

The biggest problem is that the closest pediatric surgeon is apparently in fricken Salt Lake City. These ********* can charge us all sorts of money for healthcare, but they can’t keep a single pediatric surgeon in either Wyoming or Montana.

I have a lot of cuss words about this situation.

Ah, the esophagus, now I get it.

I really hope it will work out well ( and at minimal costs as well), can't get too political here but I'm very happy with our Dutch health system.

It may not be perfect but we can get medical help without having to fear for bankrupcy.

It absolutely is.

Well as a Dutch person I have a different view.

Right now we have beautiful sunny weather here, and when it rains this is my first thought:

Don't move to Vancouver then.   Rains way too much there for your taste.   Sometimes even for their tastes too.

I have been there, will be there in a year or so again. It's annoying but better safe than sorry with these things.

I will cross my fingers for you that it will all go well.

No family history of problems in that area so I am expecting a good report.

We'll have a preliminary report by mid afternoon tomorrow, after which I am having as many In and Out Burgers [West Coast USA thing] with fries as I can stuff in my hungry face.

In another hour I start preparing a concoction that will end up with me drinking Polyethylene Glycol [basically food grade Anti-Freeze].  :upside:

I'm starting to feel like a Lab Experiment.  And not in a good way.
