We're not as bad as some places, but we could use some rain here in Texas, too.

We're getting one of those two foot rains this morning.  you know the kind, where it's two feet between drops?

the Germans have a word for grief-bacon. surely they have a similar for anger-bacon.

the Germans have a word for emotional states i've never even heard of, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I had my grandma over for Sunday night dinner. We had steak and stuffed potatoes. I baked the steak in the oven; sounds silly, but it worked perfectly. And now the house smells like MEAT! Whoever thinks the house should smell like pumpkin spice is wrong. Meat is much more welcoming.

MEAT!

Looks like I am in the rubber room again. Woke up over an hour late so I canceled my commute and decided to work from home. Had a solitary email. Done for the day it seems.

Gonna go play e-janitor then and empty out my email trash can, then find an email that can be trashed, empty the trash can, find an email, and repeat until the pain dulls.

You can have some that we got today, except ours comes in the form of snow.

Everything frozen here. Roads closed because of snow, slush and ice. Oldest tried to get back to Moose Jaw yesterday afternoon and gave up and came back home. Sask Polytech is closed today because of the weather so he's happy he isn't missing class. Wait and see if the Dept of Highways says we can travel before trying to get to the farm to check on the cows. Not too worried because they had food and shelter. Sad part is none of us slept in because we all wanted to see if there was school/work or not.

Well, last week bought a turntable for my model railroad. It showed up and even though discontinued some years ago, is LNIB...except no instructions! So, after emailing the company and finding out they don't even have a PDF of the instructions Finally found a copy on the internet. WHEW!

I have PIZZA!

Hallelujah!

OK, it's only a 300gram frozen pizza with ham & cheeze, but...   There's still one left in the package should I need it....

And that, kids, is why a dezent sized freezer is so important.

And having it close enough so that a sick person can manage to root around in it....

(Caught a glimpse of a corner of the box. My freezer is actually in my kitchen)

I am sad you’ve been sick. My freezer is in my kitchen too. But, alas, it has no pizza.

Did you get vaxxed before the plague got you? Hope it is helping.
