If you paint a camo pattern on an rpg does that make it count as a concealed weapon?

Only if you are an extra, with no speaking part, in a movie with the word “Airplane” in the title.

Yay, it's Monday again, the start of another fun filled work week!

I'm not fooling anyone, am I?

Of course not, it's still the weekend for me...  Then again, I booked off Monday and Tuesday as recovery days for the parental visit, since at the time they were talking about whisking me about all over the place for the full three days of the weekend, and it took until four days before their visit to convince them that hey, I'm gonna need a day of recovery before I go back to work (I was rather "dead" yesterday, completely exhausted and worn out from being in so many social situations and around sooooo many people for so long, and running into issues with both meals they got me didn't help either (people need to stop saying "oh it isn't that spicy" when someone mentions THEY CAN'T HANDLE SPICE).  Parents didn't know about the two days I'd booked off so I could have an actual weekend, but am I ever glad I talked them out of Sunday because... Yeaaaaaaah.  I wouldn't have had the mental capacity to be out and about that day.

Considering I was able to empty out my email inbox in less than an hour, the week looks to be another one where I am in the rubber room trying hard not to bounce off the walls.

But now that I wrote that, bouncing around sounds like some fun exercise and mildly appealing. I think they’d get upset if I started installing wall trampolines.

It's easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

Go for it!

If they question the trampolines, tell them it's research for an upcoming project.

It's effectively Saturday for me as I worked at the Railroad Museum yesterday.

December is going to be grueling as the museum does "Santa Train" the first three weekends and I'm up for opening day [first Saturday in December] with Sunday off and then the following two Sundays as The Man With All The Toys.  Have to greet and present a candy cane to every single passenger, no lunch break as the train runs all day so I will be getting a bite here and there during loading/unloading cycles, plus the other Santa has never done it before so he will be observing "Nicholas Borealis" [my alternate persona] for most of the day.

For those of you doing the Monday to Friday grind, or some version of the same, may you have a week with as few bumps and potholes in your path as possible.

SNOW!

Last weekend I had a bout of seasonal depression with the dark, grey, cold, rainy, windy weather we've had for several days (or why I hate November). But now it's heavily snowing (first real snow of the season) and it's bright again (even at night)! My brain really needed this.

Downside is that I have to clear the elfing snow from my car again.

P.S. By coincidence, the network is down at the office (switch died last Friday). So since I have to work from home, it's technically a snow day.

Oh, hey. Hi there, cold snap. When'd you get in ...

I don't know what curve of the decision tree ended with zero coverage for the upstairs from our HVAC, but whatever it was, I'd like to  find that person and find out. Because this is silly, and the hole in the floor ain't cutting it...

Streaming from under a mound of blankets is going to be interesting, considering how much of my hands and forearms I need to paint..
