It chinooked yesterday, and I was finally able to take my doggy for an adventure. She was so happy, it was marvelous. It's been -35C at night for about a month with a balmy -25C during the day. We drive from one car plug in to the next. It's going to be cold all week again. We also had no water for 5 days between Christmas and New Years because the wellhead was frozen. My poor doggy can only play outside for about 10 minutes at a time. We are going to town to buy her some booties today. I do, but it's a Secret. :) Various things in progress. There's a christmas cross-stitch project I have been working on, got started late this year because I had to order new glasses to be be able to see it. Probably keep going for the rest of the week, then put it away with the tree and other holiday trimmings. Plugging away on a Stargrave terrain project, some scratch build, some repurposed Bones, some 3d printed. There's a couple of small quilt projects I should get finished within the next two weeks, to be delivered to a local hospice care center. I do the piecework someone else does the finishing. My handyman found the part we needed and we just got that installed. So heat is back on! The second is to brew a batch of beer for next month's home brew competition. And finally, my older Honda quit running again the day before we left for vacation. I need to get it towed into the shop later this week and see how much it's going to cost me. And depending on what they say, it may be that my other project this week is shopping for a new car. I also need to find someone who repairs privacy fences as the construction idiots across the alley from me appear to have driven into mine while I was on vacation. We got a bit of snow that rolled through the central part of OR last week, it smacked Eugene but kinda lost some of it's umph as it went through the Cascades. It did drop a decent amount amount here, afterwards our temperatures have dropped significantly. When I came home this morning from work, it was around 5 degrees F. When my daughter went to work it was like 1 degree. Probably 4-6 inches total. Then Friday was nice, around freezing. Saturday and Sunday it rained, taking care of almost all the snow and getting up to about +7C. Then a skiff of snow over night and today has a forecast high of -5C. First is four plates for Grinning God's Kitsune - 9 Tailed Fox, then there's two plates for White Werewolf Tavern's Oleana the Werewolf Queen and Meirosa (both as 75mm, as well as busts), and then back to the Howling Horde gnolls from Archvillain Games (probably the Scouts next) Master Grade Sazabi should see some work My Voron Trident 300 is just begging for more work to be done on it, so hopefully my printed parts arrive this week! Sure would be handy to find a spot to put all this filament... And there's even more in the mail. Spoiler due to messy table 😛 Spoiler Yeah, it's a bit big.
