The literal "shelf of shame" -- half-finished minis staring at me from their shadowbox on the wall. It was my 2022 resolution to reduce their numbers. So far, two figures finished and a third nearly done -- out of about thirty.

Don't rightly know, and the director doesn't come back until next Monday. Also, training of the new driver is more on me due to the situation with the other driver here. 5

PS: Thank you all for the good wishes, the back is better, We got some dog booties for Lilly, so we are working on wearing them. Mom hasn't figured out how to put them on so they stay on. So far, one front and one back paw are in booties to play. Lilly is actually really good about it, especially when playing. They have leather soles, so she sounds super odd when running. Professionally, I'll be out of town visiting the premises of a new client for the next few days. So tomorrow I have to complete some online mandatory training before I'm allowed on site.

After I watched Star Trek: TOS for the first time I practiced for months to make my eyebrows do that. It took a while, but I got my right one trained pretty good. My left eyebrow only occasionally cooperates. On 1/2/2022 at 1:47 PM, Corsair said: Quizzle for 2 January 2022 Have you been hit by the heavy snow across North America? ttuckerman
Snow: No, just a light dusting and 23 degrees F. Projects: Game board for WWI plane combat. Now if I could just get a copy of the rules. Photographed scene: Context? In gaming it would be the miniature positions at the end of a gaming night. normal would be our backyard Gazebo.

Our old family lighthouse in St George ME. Also currently my most painted - two, one small study and one digital study. I haven't actually painted much in this journey to learn how to paint traditionally, haha! Not that I frittered away the study time, drawing is fundamental to painting (despite what they may try to sell you at art school!). Ironically, I'm gearing up to do a small series of studies from some photo ref I took there in 2006, to familiarize myself with materials again (my last serious attempt at painting was in 2018). Or to keep it 100, probably my old cat sleeping on the bed. edited to add: Eyebrow raise, master level. Credit goes to Steve Austin, the 6 Million Dollar Man and being a child of the 70s. My lip curl came later, Billy Idol in the early 80s 🙂 8

Recently, it's been in and around this little bridge in a nature park the next neighborhood over: This site is photographed most often, mostly because this is the endpoint for many of my daily walks I've started taking for exercise. It's a hidden scenic spot in a mostly suburban area, and it's been fun documenting the changes that the weather and seasons have had on this creek bed. 11
