I know someone here knows, but it's driving me nuts

1) some kind of summoning/portal.

2) a Frost giant or Norse? This looks like old RP or Gren but doesn't match up to any of them

thanks

First one is a ghoul emerging from a crypt. Grenadier Models, Fantasy Lords, 066 Thing From The Crypt.

that's so odd, i would have placed a bet it was a Gorilla Demon coming thru a portal

Giant is Citadel Miniatures, Fiend Factory range, FF-12 Mountain Giant with Battleaxe.

Wonder why they didn't just call it a Frost giant?

thanks for the replies.

If you look closely at the detail on the crypt thing, you can see that he's stepping through a hole in a solid door.

what do you guys think is a fair price for these older , larger Citadels. I see some crazy prices on ebay from UK sellers (connection to games workshop nostalgia?). $10. to $15.  bucks including shipping seem fair?

This is lead rot... It's actually a form of rust (oxidization). It starts out as looking like a fine white or grey powder on parts of the figure, and then starts growing like coral on it. If you scrape it off, there will be pits in the figure where the reaction has reached below the surface of the metal.

thanks the clarification on the lead rot, I think I'll throw a bid at that one

I won a couple of Citadel Fiend Factory series from earlier in the thread. I didn't win the Frost Giant i was looking at 😞

but i Did get  a very, very  early Red Dragon FF33 for 12 bucks +ship. Not bad.   Also, some kind of Demon/Balrog FF5
