MaskedRiderChris
Much as I love my Badger Patriot 105? I'm encountering an issue where as soon as I press down the trigger, I get paint as well as air spraying, as opposed to just air and then paint coming out when I actually pull the trigger back. Do I need to adjust the needle some or...? Fellow Badger Patriot owners, help?
cmorse
Either your needle just isn't far enough forward, there is some dry paint holding it open, the tip of the needle is damaged in a way that prevents it from seating, or the nozzle is cracked/damaged.
K2h2m3
I have a habit of pulling my patriots needle back when not in use to protect it from damage. The other day I went to use it a totally forgot I had pulled the needle back. Took me a minute or two to realize why I was getting paint with the air when I only pushed the trigger down.
MojoBob
Yep, your needle is not properly seated. As you push it forward, twist it — that helps, I find. Be careful about pushing it in too hard, as you risk splitting the nozzle, and when that happens there's no fix but to buy a new nozzle.
