In the 'Across the Wastes' module there are camels and other desert themed characters.

I am planning on using mummies for Sand Husks.

I think I can use elementals or gamin for the Sand Blades. Anything that can be painted up as a swirling mass of sand

I am a bit hung up on terrain. I have plenty of ruins. But they are all European castle like ruins. Desert ruins should look more Egyptian or Southwestern like adobe. Does anybody have suggestions for these?

If you do 3D Print all you have to do is visit Myminifactory and search for Desert.

There is a LOT of terrain and minis that fit the bill.

I know because I have this little Desert themed project going on and I have collected loads of stuff.

You could also search on Etsy or somethign like that, there are merchants who will print it for you.

If you don't 3D print, how about acquiring some foam?

One can build a lot of stuff.

Greenstuffworld has Egyptian Rollerpins with which you can imprint foam to create walls I did that take a look at my Shifting Sands Project.

And..Greenstuffworld has these nice little ruins pieces:

You could also search for Scibor or Grendel.

They also sell Egyptian Stuff.

As @Glitterwolf mentioned, Etsy has a fair amount of stuff if you aren't into the 3-D printing hobby.

Don't forget that some of your European castle style stuff might still work. If you've got anything that's rather plain walls made of stone blocks, those can be painted a yellow/sandy/desert color and they'll work perfectly.

If you're interested in DIY at all, those plastic cake decorating columns that everybody uses for Greco-Roman terrain would look great painted in desert colors, too. You can find these at Michael's/Hobby Lobby and similar places. Pink foam could be used to make buildings with.

I hope this helps.

ETA---Gale Force Nine makes/made some in their 'Battlefield in a Box' line of products.

While GSW has a lot of good looking things, the company is one that kind of pulls a lot of sleezy things to control markets. The most recent is their claiming of "Color Shift" in regard to paints, even over paints that have been on the market for years with lawsuits and making claims on youtube review videos. They've done the same thing with other products over the years.

A visit to your local craft store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby may well turn up the components to build some really nice antiquities-style columns, out of some combination of cardboard tubes, styrofoam bits and little wooden shapes. They may even have some sort of Egyptian-ish little doodads for sale.

Reaper has a lot of those in Bones.  Also the "Nefsokar" search word will bring up more Egyptian-like figures.

14245 is a dust devil, though the cost for metal might put you off.

Molded pulp packaging:

Hirst Arts has Egyptian themed molds if you are more into building stuff.  You may be able to find pre-cast brick sets on Etsy.

There's a plastic "TOOB" set of figures which might be useful for statues.

I game primarly in Ancient Egypt fantasy. I use mostly Hirst Arts, and I have loads of them that can go to a new home. I have a copy of the Green Stuff World roller, but I don't like it because it's not easy to clean. TT Combat has some MDF pieces I'm looking at picking up at some point in the future. I bought some 3D printed stuff from an online seller, and it's great. You can make a lot of things out of foam easily, too. Cut bricks and assemble them or carve an obilisk. Make a pyramid out of 1/4" foamcore.

I forgot to add fish tank ornaments and cheap palm trees from China. Just search "railroad model palm trees" on online auction houses and you have an entire oasis at your disposal. They usually come with little pegs, so buy some MDF, drill a hole, insert peg, superglue and flock and paint. I like to use inks on the tree trunks.

You might also consider looking at some of the crusades era terrain options that are out there.

The Perry's Mud brick house is one that works rather well for anything there, and there's a few other similar ones out there for adding variety and you can, normally, break them down pretty well for ruins

TTCombat/TrollTrader had a kickstarter a while back that was heavily ancient Egypt inspired. They've released some of the stuff in their store.

GF9's "Forgotten City" sets are also thematically fitting.

The warhammer age of sigmar ruins paint up quite nicely in desert colours. I then used some pieces from Ziterdes and some from Blotz. I got the add on sprue for the Perry desert house. It has a dome, awning, pots, and other things. Fenris games and scibor both do nice Egyptian scatter. Lots of these are UK/EU though which may not help you.

Plus 1 for looking for Egyptian themed tat although actually aquarium ornaments can be quite expensive. If you look for 'Egyptian resin' that should bring up a few cheap things you can bury in sand or drybrush khaki.
