Good effort, it looks convincing.  I have yet to commit to an NMM attempt, for what ever reason I always overthink it, frazzle my brain and then pull out the regular metallics to save a head ache.... 😅

I'll second the advice to keep on working on your blending - that's what I need to work on. My gold/bronze NMM is better than my silver/steel but both can use some work.

What I really like about this mini is the lo-res appearance which brings to mind computer games from the early to mid 90s - I'm thinking Eye of the Beholder and the like.

It is like that for me too! But I guess the only way to learn is to put some paint on the mini and work your way from there. I hope I get better at it over time 😅

Thank you! I was going for a lo-res look and I'm glad it looks like that! I was inspired by shovel knight 😁

That looks great! Also fun to see a Tehnolog mini here. 😄

As for the NMM, I think you did a really good job! I've honestly not done any myself, but I would say that you probably want to work on smoother blends, and also that you'll probably want to have some minor parts where the highlight is strongest go completely white, if you want it to look actually shiny. 😄

And again, really good job!

Hey everyone, I completed another one Yesterday. Some more orange... on a completely different model. She reminded me of Red Sonja so I decided to paint her hair fiery red.
This is 02759, Dena the Barbarian sculpted by Dennis Mize.

I'm not sure about the poison on the blade, should I add more or change it for blood? Let me know what you think.
