Popular Post wtwest
I owe this mini to my wife. For her 16th birthday when we were in high school I bought her a blue care bear. She still has it. So fast forward 20 years, I thought I'd get her another. I was going to paint it like her "bedtime" bear, but for some reason it didn't strike much fear. I decided to go with "grumpy" bear instead. It turned out all right. My kids thought I had completely lost what little I had left. Anyway, I decided when I went to Gen Con I would enter it in the painting contest. My eldest cautioned against it. I thought, what do I have to lose? Besides they don't tell everyone, who paints the minis, unless they win something. So here it is in all it's glory. I call it "When Care Bears Go Wild!" Ichabod Crane
Is this the same one from ReaperCon 2004??? I was hoping pictures would get posted of it and was mad when I realized I hadn't taken any. If it's not, then this one is also done well. Hexxenhammer
Effing hilarious. I'm reminded of the "Terror Bears" from the TMNT roleplaying game.
Erion
I literally laughed out loud when I saw that. When did the care bears start arming themselves? An awesome job -- the blue fur is almost believable.
skavenbabe
When did the care bears start arming themselves? when the smurfs started raiding them for stuffing for their pillows! I think a whole line of Care Were Bears would be awesome lol.. all pinks, blues and yellows LOL. great job on this one hes well done.

EvilAngus
Awesome :D It looks like the ReaperCon WereCareBear, but I don't think it's the same--that one had "I <heart> U" written on the axe blade, which was neon yellow.

Digital [email protected]
Smurf heads on the base would throw it over the top. Thanks for a good laugh and BTW, it is a good paint job to boot.
