The blue and white tones to the smoke are a really unique touch. I like it! Are the hands also supposed to be made of the same smoke? That's what I'm assuming. 

 

I'm also liking the paint job on the other details (the book, the staff, etc.).

Thanks! I decided to make it look like he's made from ectoplasm, so the smoke and his hands are white washed with thinned Vallejo verdigris. Unfortunately my crappy photography doesn't really show it too well.
