Interesting Kickstarter for resin minis based on the Mork Borg setting (Nothing something I've heard of, but I barely know anything about RPGs):-

Also not a company I've heard of before, but they do seem to have a pretty solid track record.

 

 

What is it about this week and Kickstarters for weird minis? On top of this one there's Coven launching on Saturday too, I'm supposed to be getting out of this whole Kickstarting malarkey!

MÖRK BORG is one of those games I probably will never feel like playing but has some weird interesting lore that's fun to read, and these models hit that perfectly....

 

As a developer, the MÖRK BORG website is practically art unto itself...

 

I'm having to work real hard to resist.....

A few of these sculpts are amazing. I like the creepy goblins, and I really love the chaos warrior-reminiscent Fanged Deserter.

Just backed this for a few of the models... the Gutterborn Scum looks sufficiently creepy, the Aland with the lamp for a head has caught my eye as well as the Jammed Door with a skeleton which gives me (CREEPY) vibes of the talking door knockers from the Labyrinth movie. This looks like a game that I might enjoy but I have no plans on ever playing, so the minis I get will either proxy for D&D or just be for painting & display. Boris is an amazing sculptor and I'll be happy to have more of his work in my collection!

yeah, Mork Borg goblins are very creepy - they were once humans with a curse.  If you're attacked by a goblin (doesn't matter if it wounds you or not) and the goblin is not killed within 3 days you become a goblin.  Your human mind is trapped in the goblin body, unable to act as the goblin's violent, evil, nature takes over.

In the comments the creator said they were planning to have a few targeted add-ons in the PM for things people would want multiple copies of. The only one described in detail was an add-on of 3 goblins.
