Definitely not the standard take on a gargoyle :). I agree, this is cool. The flesh on the wings looks very realistic (the slight shine really sells them as being wet/organic). I love the oxidized armor effect, too. Did you use technical paints for it or straight-up paint?

Good job this critter!

The battle axe tail is a neat idea; I'll need to remember that.

Thank you Brother Wolf.

The axe was already sculpted on, it's a plastic board game mini. But it's a nice idea to use for conversions as well.

Thanks!

For the Oxidized Armor I used Scale 75 Old Copper and then Vallejo Verdigris.

Hello folks! AngerSmash will be launching in Kickstarter on September 15, 2021 and you may now follow the project with this pre-launch link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/uncreatedspace/angersmash-a-game-making-fun-of-your-anger

But before launching on Kickstarter, I wanted to get some pre-feedback on the game box design that we've come up so far. Please refer to the photo below. We'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you so much! 🙂

(August 27) Edit: Just finished reading the guidelines, so far I think I might not be violating any rules, except for the gif photo that I've posted here which I've taken down and replaced with a non-moving png 🙂 If I did misunderstand the guidelines please let me know so that I don't do this again. Thank you so much!

Just wanted to ask for feedback on the box design of a game that I'm currently developing. Hoping to hear from y'all, most of you guys are pretty experienced in board/card games. Thanks so much! 🙂

Gonna leave the Kickstarter project page link here as well as the Instagram link

Given I have a few unplayed games sitting on my shelf, my will save has gotten pretty high on these.

Of the 5 Wrath of Ashardalon heroes I painted years ago, this one's my favorite. I love the sculpt...lots of opportunities for fun paint work.

Even though I did this one years ago, I still like him.  The armor is inspired by Simon Belmont's armor in the NES Castlevania 2 box art (more of a plum/wine color than straight brown leather).

This one's not a bad sculpt for what he is (though, I wish they'd sculpted in his right foot...makes him look bizarre at certain angles).
