Cherub, presumably…probably intended as a paladin. Personally, I generally dislike raised shield designs, but I went with what was cast rather than file it flat.

Great job Rob! I have such a hard time choosing my favorite range between “Children of the Night”, “All Things Dark and Dangerous”, and “Personalities and Things that Go Bump in the Night”. When I was young actually in the eighties, I always loved Tom Meier’s stuff, but as I got older Dennis Mize and Julie Guthrie’s art called out to me as well.

Happily, I can mix all three ranges as I please (plus the “pre-mixed” The Adventurers).  If I had to pick one today, it would probably be All Things Dark and Dangerous (mostly because of the broader range of characters), but historically I have more Personalities etc.

As I look at what I’ve painted recently, I think I’ve actually painted more All Things Dark and Dangerous more than the other ranges.
