The lizard throat is not really appealing to me. From the the side the face does look like a synapsid more than a lizard. So that is nice. Well spotted.  The lizard is a cross between a gorgonopsid (head and upright neck), a Komodo dragon (body plan and feet), a gila monster (bead scales), and a male iguana (dewlap), with a bit of my fancy thrown in to tie it all together. 

 

I did design the dewlap such that (if China keeps the parts the same as I did) you can easily leave it off (or heat it and rip it off if they super glue it in place), fill the slot with GS, then use 80 grit sand paper to texture the GS to match the surrounding.  Viola, no dewlap.  I'll likely make a tutorial of this in the sculpting section once the KS fulfills for those who don't like that feature. (hmmm...that would also be a good addition to one of my beginning sculpting classes at RCon.)

Well, we unlocked the dwarves overnight and we're making good progress towards the next goal; nice to see an upswing in pledging. 

 

About the flumph: sure it might seem silly to some, but there are also a lot of people who are happy to have it so I'm glad it's there.

 

Besides,  it doesn't have to be a Lawful Good dungeon monster; I'm seeing a Barbed Thresher from the jungles of Cantrev-7. If all else fails,  it's a good source of tentacles for conversions. 

You just need to use your imagination.

Put me in that pro-Flumph camp.  Very happy for its inclusion.

 

32 hours left and there's still a potential fan favorites box.  Hope springs eternal for not-giff and not-neogi.  With Spelljammer coming back out in a few months there's never been a better time!

wasn't looking at too much pledging this time....though DRAGONS!!... Wyverns! Fae stuff.... and a flumpf (which i had no idea of, but now I know looks like a fun thing to have floating around.

Agreed. I for one could not stand the Dino-Ninjas in Bones 5. Especially since there was a lack of Human ninjas.  I still  bought  and enjoyed the Daiymo expansion 🙂

Eeek, I've been telling myself that I'm not worried about the slowness of this and that everything will unlock but we're in the final 48hrs now and there hasn't really been a massive surge yet. Hoping that everything we've seen becomes available!

 

On the upside fulfilment is likely to be quicker with smaller backer numbers? Maybe? Seems like a rather tarnished silver lining. 😕

Just dropped my pledge; first time backing something and really excited. I'm looking at the lost tombs expansion, definitely want that terrain for Call of Cthulhu and the gods look like loads of fun to paint.

The last day sees the biggest bump.  The uptick is in its infant stages, everything is on track.

My expectations were pretty high as well, even with the "no Chronoscope" statement right at the beginning.  Unless something amazing happens tonight I'll be pledging less than expected, too.   For Bones 2 and 3 my pledges were pretty low, under $200 and under $100 respectively.   But I think we've seen almost everything at this point.  I just hope they break up more of the core, as it seems there's figures in it that people want without spending the $120.
