Cyradis
I was out in wilderness 1st aid training all day. Seems like it went.... okay? Surprised the storm giant is a KS exclusive. I get it for some of the big and unwieldy ones like the Stygian Barge (accidentally KS exclusive), but I didn't expect it for her.
Peacemonger
Since others are listing their buys, currently I'm in for: Core Set - Like others, lot of miniatures I don't need, but a lot of the later add-ons they showed will fill in some pretty big gaps to my collection and I finally caved. Although the extras were all miniatures I was interested in, I prefer a limited number of each monster as opposed to whole squads, so core made more sense for my personal interests. Briarwood Vale Expansion - Half of my very few posts I've done on this forum were about my interest in fey and my excitement when it happened. This was a given. Denizens of the Dungeon Expansion - Too many really niche monsters I wanted to be able to pass up. Egg of the Phoenix - Unique monsters, couple of well-done Arabian-nights-esque heroes... easy choice for me. Talons of Winterfell - Have one owlbear already, and like the idea of a whole family. Bloodclub Bugbears - Don't have any bugbears, so this filled a gap. Charondar the Cruel - Mostly into 5e myself, and since their dragon-themed expansion came out I need more models to hit on all the different types. 30th Anniversary Dragon - Too good of a value to pass up, not sure how I want to paint it, but leaning Shadow... Storm Giant Queen - Not aware of any other miniature that hits this niche, loved the Storm Giant King from B5 too. Shadows of Sullenhall Expansion - Not personally a terrain person (though understand and respect others' enthusiasm for it), and have lots of skeletons already, but parts 4 and 5 hooked me in. Lost Tombs of Hakir Expansion - As above, not as much into terrain, but I do love miniatures reflecting different cultures/mythologies to bring in some variety to my collection. The Goblins of Rotstump Bog - Lot of character, and figured last minute would rather pledge for it than not. The stirges are the biggest draw for me on this one. Orcs of the Ragged Wound - I have over 400 painted miniatures (and lots of unpainted ones) and of those only one Orc. Don't know how that happened, but this helps with that. The ones in bold I'm 100% in for. The ones italicized may get switched out depending on what other things end up getting added to the Pledge Manager, or may end up keeping these AND add on any new options I like too.

I couldn't, but I got pictures. Of note, the square archway also has 2 different sides. My pictures don't 100% capture that, but someone else got some some very good shots of both sides of that piece. 4 hours ago, Guindyloo said: @Chaoswolf I saw you in the background on the stream while Bob & Julie were on. I waved, but you didn't wave back. 🙃 The reason you saw me, was because I was about to walk up and start talking to Bob & Julie. At the last minute, I realized they were doing an interview, so I exited stage left. 3 hours ago, bearsman6 said: Where was this surge of spending hours ago? Or days? Eesh. It's hard to keep up. haldir
1 hour ago, strawhat said: I had a pledge for $200. I cancelled it. I ended up re-pledging for $125. I'm under $150 in the PM, but I "should" be about twice that. I might make it back up to $200-ish, but I might not. I'm feeling uncharacteristically stubborn about this (and I'm already pretty stubborn by nature). There are many decisions made by Reaper this go-round that I do not understand, and that is very likely to keep my pledge amount lower. Why get the lancers if I'm not getting Briarwood (and how do we not have a bee-zerker?! How?!)? Why get the extra ants (without the queen) if I'm not getting the Core? Why are the skeletal hounds in Denizens away from the handler in the Core? Why is the [owlbear] hatchling in the core away from Winterfall? The hyenadon away from the Blackmanes? Why does Vandorendra have a rattle? Where were the Deep Ones? Where were the Slaughterwaulers? The encounters really drove my Bones V purchases, and dropping them into the mix only at the very end of ends did much to lessen my anticipation. Kickstarter Exclusives suck. Full stop. I get that the numbers may not be right for a profitable retail release, but I hope that at least some of the KS Exclusives will really be more like "Kickstarter Limited" or "Kickstarter Featured" and have some sort of pledge manager rotation. I would expect Reaper to sell these at ReaperCon, but yah I'm not a big fan of them. One reason why I won't back CMoN KSes (among other things with them) is due to the reliance on exclusives to drive a product. I bet we'll see a bunch of revealed but didn't in the KS as stuff in the PM. The PM isn't handled by KS, so no extras taken out by them to promote the product. It's all Reaper's. I'm not exactly sure how much I'll spend on this one tbh, there are several things that I saw that I really liked, but there were also things I was like "I've got these already, just in metal or I can print similar products." I have to admit there is a feeling that I get when I pull a print out of the printer, that I don't get when purchasing a pre-made mini these days. That said, I hope that PM will reveal a bunch of figures & hopefully Reaper will cave in & allow Core Set break ups like their KSes in the past. 5

Your pictures were really helpful - thanks for sharing them! I don't want to read too much into it, but I feel it is a hopeful sign that they displayed the slaughter pigs and the "Familiars II" figures. I hope that means those might get offered via Pledge Manager, if enough additional funding gets added in the Pledge Manager. <fingers crossed>

corbie
+1 as a maybe for the lighthouse, once we see some renders. I'm not usually interested in the big terrain pieces, but this one looks like it might be more useful/versatile than most and the minis is comes with are promising.
MicroDM
Honestly I am super happy, it is my first one so I preference my statements with that. I didn't understand some things in the middle of the campaign but honestly seeing it at the end kinda makes sense. I'm sad we didn't get to see as much as Bones V, sad I didn't get to see the Orc patron ( I really need more of those kind of sculpts from reaper), I really wanted the slaughter walrus gang to be teased, all the Legendary tales, Deep Temple, etc. but hey that's a kickstarter for you. I know it wasn't the best and is a lower kickstarter (funding wise) but I am really glad to back it. I love some of the ideas tossed about on the forum about smaller kickstarters with more focus on expansions or just focusing on expanding reaper USA or bones Black. The logistical challenges of the continued SARS-CoV-2 pandemic/Geopolitics are really running the issues seen here and in so many other kickstarters so I am not going to complain too much when looking back at bones V in comparison. I love exclusives because it makes pledging during the KS worth something rather than just waiting till retail and that sucks but it is the way it is, there are only 3 (death knight (I guess 2 if you count the sitting and standing), Storm Queen, and the Lighthouse) out of how many minis that are going to make it to retail in x number of years. I'm looking forward to the pledge manager and any (and seeing here and from comments in the past/twitch statements) power-ups to the pledges, like the orc patron pleaaase. I will probably try to get more than I originally pledged just because my April was nuts and I was bleeding cash on so many unexpected things (moving, car, health issues, condo problems, tech needing to be replaced man everything just needed some amount of money thrown at it) so I hope the next kickstarter is either later in the year or in May. I'd really like them to use 100% new sculpts rather or explain why some of the old sculpts are being brought back into the kickstarter like the zombies/other things in the core set and where they plan to put them to use (bones USA, bones black, replacing models etc). I'm not going to lie when I saw those older sculpts I really wanted to know why they were in here and where they were going because if its Bones USA I'm here for it and not just because I'm stateside. I get to look forward to giant skeletons, fey creatures, humongous dragons, scarabfolk, mummy liches, new owl bears, creepy critters new adventurer types, so much more for a fraction of the cost of retail, and I got to have a whole month of being apart of the process to a small tiny extent. That leaves me happy. 27 minutes ago, Chaoswolf said: I couldn't, but I got pictures. Of note, the square archway also has 2 different sides. The value you get is so good. I think Reaper has just reached the point where long standing fans/customers just expect more from them. Totally understand the enthusiasm your feeling. Just wait till you get the notification on the box(es) weight when they ship. 11
Sirithiliel
Yea. I guess I just have to understand I am not Reaper's target customer anymore They want customers who will buy basic monsters in bulk and adventurers, not the ones who just want big cool things to paint Maybe I'd be better off investing the money I spend on Kickstarters into getting a resin printer
ratsmitglied
Well, I had to opt out this time. Not because nothing appealed to me (Hakir looked good 🙂 ), but because other events in my life mean that I just didn't have the funds available, and probably won't have them before the PM closes. 3

Your pics showed more detail than I've been able to see on KS or Twitch. I was already in for a lot of it, but it was nice to see the details up close. Glad you got a shot of Julie's mummy queen and cat familiar. We didn't reach funding to get it in the KS and she was reluctant to show it off without Ron's approval, and he wasn't around... I'm glad I got to see it, even if it doesn't get produced any time soon. Hope you had a nice time at the party. I miss the smell of the Reaper factory. 23 minutes ago, Sirithiliel said: I am not Reaper's target customer anymore I think that's become apparent to many of us this month.
