Hello,

 

Am I missing something or did the Bones 6 prices jump up in the Pledge Manager?

 

When I pledged the Core set was $125.00 Now it says that it is $150.00.  The Green Griffin, Sullenhall and Denizens were each $50.00.  Now it says they are $60.00 each.

Chaarondar was $16.00. Now it is $20.00.  The 30th Anniversary Dragon was $35.00. Now it is $42.00.  Talons of Winterfall was $18.00.  Now it is $22.00.  My total pledge which Kickstarter charged me back on April 30th was $344.00.  Now in the pledge Manager it says $414.00 with applicable tax to be determined at checkout.  This is a $70.00 increase.  I see nothing about this difference being in shipping cost.   Did Reaper change the prices after the fact? What is going on? Please someone explain.  This is my first kickstarter.  I am hoping that it might not be the last.  To be determined by an answer to my questions.

@MiniPainterDMan89look for your official link that was sent from Reaper in your email.  I thought the same thing but those are late backer prices you see now.  Look for your link and you'll get the right ones.

As @R2ED said, you need to follow the link in your email to link your kickstarter pledge to the pledge manager to see the kickstarter prices, as detailed in the latest update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/reaperbones5/bones-6-tales-from-the-green-griffin/posts/3535700

 

Here is the most relevant information:

 

"2. Find the email sent to you from [email protected] and click on the link in the email. The title will be: "Claim Your Pledge for Bones 6".  The claim link will look something like this: https://b6.reapermini.com/claim/<some really long code here>.  Following this link will apply your pledge from the Bones 6 Kickstarter to your Reaper Pledge Manager account even if you used a different email address at Kickstarter and the pledge manager. If you no longer have access to the email you used at Kickstarter.com when you pledged or haven’t received your claim email, please contact [email protected] For verification purposes please include both your KS Backer Name and KS Backer Number."

Thank you very much for the information.  My Reaper Pledge Manager link got buried in the spam folder.  I did not realize there was even an email link to the pledge manager.  I used the link and completed the pledge and added a few more items.   Your quick help has been much appreciated.  Thank you.

The live streams Ed and Ron both made it seem like there would definitely be some kind of power ups

in the past the first power ups happened around a month after KS ended. now we're about 1 1/2 months out, but they're also still scaling up bones usa production, running the base boss 2 KS, and planning for reaper con. I wouldn't be surprised if there's not a whole lot of new news before reaper-con (sept 1-4).

reaperJon did say in discord to expect the PM to stay open till the end of the year or early next year.

So so far im in for a core set, the anniversary dragon, and the lighthouse.  Ive got a list of other things im planning on getting(its on my home PC), and ill be getting it in drips and drabs with every paycheck.

I posted this over in the KS comments but wondered if I might get any more response here.

 

I'm a bit confused by the VAT vs sales tax thing (forgive my ignorance on this!) I can see this bit in the update:

VAT and GST are not being collected at this time for the UK, EU, and rest of the world.

We are collecting US sales tax where applicable.

 

So as a UK backer am I paying both the sales tax and VAT later down the line? I've got a listing for Tax in my order, is why I ask, and would have thought that I wouldn't be getting a tax charge since I'm buying from the UK and will pay VAT later? Sorry if this might be blindingly obvious and I'm having a dumb moment!

Just an FYI for anyone seeing this in the same situation - I had a lovely swift reply from Reaper support which explains what's going on for me. A few early orders accidentally had VAT charged on completion. Most orders did not and will get charged the VAT at the end (same for add ons added after the initial order for folks like me). Reaper will account for this when working out the final charge for VAT. So I can now go add my add ons to my hearts content knowing any extras will have the VAT charge when I pay for shipping. Huzzah! 🙂

Hi, I am in a similar position of confusion to what you were, but your answer from Reaper seems to have confirmed my worst fears.

 

Does this not in effect mean that there is a price hike of 20% over the list price for all items for UK customers? I don't remember having this issue on previous Bones Kickstarters, but I might be wrong about that.

(At the very least, I'd pick up a lighthouse just to have one, since it's a KS exclusive, even if you never get around to painting it...)
