You reminded me I never posted the youtube video, this link will take you directly to where Ron talks about the dragon:

Please note that the audio is very low due to a tech problem, so you may need to increase your volume.

Wow, ok, I didn't get what the buzz was all about, had to look it up.  I wouldn't worry about it at all.  They know what the problem is and they're looking to address it.

I would imagine the two "triangles" could be easily made separately either in house or in China.

A werebear with a shield, however...  that's still kind of sad...  😉

Not at this time.

The new update said tha[t] things are progressing for the minis to be printed/ made here in the states. The Chinese factory is producing their share and the first containers MAY be shipped before Chinese New Year.

So i took another look through the new photos and saw someone say something on the kickstarter.  And i agree, the tower steps look kinda small.

I have to say I find that very disappointing. It would really be helpful if buildings like this were designed to take into account playing games with based miniatures rather than just being what are essentially diorama pieces.

Yeah, it’s a bit odd as it wouldn’t have taken much to make the steps long enough to stand a mini on.

Honestly I don't mind/ prefer the step size. Having 1 inch planks would look weird to me - if you look at the size of miniatures feet, I think the steps look correct. I like the narrow, perilous, only one person up/down carefully at a time look.

If they were 1 inch squares they'd work out to be 5 foot planks sticking out of the side of a small, manned by a single guy, lighthouse.

I go get the fun of having minis on the steps so they can fight up/down them, and sometimes build oversized staircases for this purpose - but as long as your bases aren't covered in heaps of basing material you could still wedge them between the steps if you wish.

Just my $0.031 AUD cents...

Miniature sculpting and terrain making is a difficult balance (if you will pardon the pun) between realism and practicality.

Spears made to realistic proportions for 28mm figures would not generally be very practical for example.

The step size makes a bigger difference for a tabletop skirmish game than a pen & paper RPG but I accept I will have to deal with it. That does not mean I do not wish the designers would consider gaming needs for future designs hence why I spoke up.
