The swamp-thing - I've been hoping to see one since the second Kickstarter, I think, and this one is also excellent! The Leprechaun and dancing mushrooms - I've got them in my shopping cart, waiting for my budget to catch up. They've got a lot of weird character 😄 The demonic dancing-girl - another fun character! That owl statue is as cool as can be. I don't know what it's for, but I'll make excuses to put it on the table. The satyr is great, I'm hoping he's part of a matching set! The multi-part build-your-own-knight is cool, I'll be happy to grab multiple copies. Reaper adventurer parties are always welcome, and these look great to me. Glad to see gnomes getting more love in this Kickstarter! The goblin warlord is great - I don't need more goblins, but I'd be glad to add him to my collection. The more I look at it, the more I love that Bog Shambler. I'm re-reading the OG Swamp thing books right now so I'm extra juicy about him. I 100% agree with your assessment of your favourite models, couldn't have said it better myself.

I liked the small bits of terrain in the last Kickstarter, but I do worry that the terrain push will mean certain minis I want are locked in with a terrain set that's not worth it. Mandupar Pass was a very late addition for me. I just can't see myself ever really using the terrain, but I wanted the minis.
ksbsnowowl
While I was asleep earlier today, I had a dream that Reaper had revealed the first Expansion stretch goal, Add-on stretch goal, and… I forget how my mind categorized the third one; Core Set stretch goal, probably. Or encounter add-on. I know it was a dream because the Add-on graphic was just the Demonic Lasher from Bones 5. But the Expansion graphic shown was a Viking longship that said ‘Nordic’ above it. I was so happy. And after I woke up I was bummed. Can’t wait to see what things they reveal in the run-up to Bones 6. Rob Dean
A Viking ship would be more practical than the Sophie’s Revenge, and might be enough to challenge my resolve to stay out of this one… Edited March 7, 2022 by Rob Dean

Olaf the Stout
I’ve got a resin 3D printer now, so I’m most interested in the big minis and the terrain. The smaller stuff I can print myself easily enough.

I liked the encounters approach to smaller themed sets, and hopefully they do that again. 9

ksbsnowowl
I absolutely meant to post this here, instead of in the other thread. 🤪 Not a whole lot of Bones 6 model previews last night. The out-of-focus minis in the background here are a Bones 6 tease. Looks like soldiers or guards? With the seemingly askew stance of the one on the left, it might be an army of undead… Here’s another prospective stretch goal graphic. The dollar value is just a placeholder. These ‘badges’ are emblems for the various parts of the KS. The center one is for the Core Set. Five of the others are expansions, and one (probably the scales and coins) is for add-ons. Looks like those begging for an Egyptian expansion may get their wish. The bottom left emblem is a scarab in a cartouche-like background. The unicorn with the insect wings is from an old Reaper magazine/catalog from the early/mid-90’s, and I’m guessing that will be indicative of the Faerie expansion they’ve been hinting at. It was mentioned that the massive 30th anniversary dragon (the Tyrannosaurus-looking one) will have a companion piece that goes with it. That spawned cries of ‘Dragons DO Share’ from the comments. I’d love it if he came with terrain, but Reaper didn’t actually say that. Ed said they would reveal the initial 30 mini's of the Core Set next week. Lastly, there was a new Bones 6 ‘title card’ animatic shown. Here is one frame of it. 6

Inarah
@ksbsnowowl thanks for all the pics. I'm intrigued by some of the teasers. Outlined some potential figures that my brain says are lizardmen: Pure speculation, of course. On 3/4/2022 at 10:44 AM, Marvin said: I keep trying to decide if the aesthetic has shifted a bit more in the direction of cartoonish or if it's an effect of the digital renders. Little of both it seems. Not a fan of the bigger ballooned out figures, myself. On 3/4/2022 at 6:27 PM, Chaoswolf said: I'm also a fan of the 'unit' idea; very glad to see that doing that a little bit more this time around. I'm also glad to see additions to figures 'types' that they made last time around, like the town guard for instance. Yes, it's great to have little encounter sets or units that look good together, without having to hunt various makers. I hope they release the big cats separately in the future. Not holding any hopes for Chronoscope since they seem to be content to ignore the Starfinder/Star Wars/Stargrave/Five Parsecs/Infinity/etc market entirely. But I'll put $1 in and watch in case something original pops up. God knows I don't need another 32 goblins. 9
Sirithiliel
i'll be in for big monsters and dragons, but i will be going very small on this one. I would say i'll wait till retail for the small things i want, but as there's still stuff from bones 4 that hasn't come to retail yet, that's a meager hope lol so just big things, and live without the small ones i want lol. Most of my bones 5 small things are still unpainted anyways
