If you start a collection this is a great way to get your hands of loads of minis at good value.

 

For me, I'm contemplating.

So far nothing really spectacular, I may be spoiled with my cabinet full of minis and a hard drive full of 3d files of course.

Waiting two years is another thing for me, normally I wouldn't mind, but with current events and possible escalation of that I'm not even sure if I want to take that risk.

 

I do like the Giant Skeleton and the Anubi, on the other hand I already have a few of such things.

Still contemplating.

I guess I will watch to see how things develop and then decide.

If there are only a few things I want I might pick them up at retail later.

As someone who did Bones 4 and 5 (adding the context, since this of course affects my opinions), will definitely get at least some things, only a question of what dollar limit I negotiate with the Mrs. Only two things I have I feel worth weighing on other than the general excitement and thanks that Reaper keeps doing these Kickstarters are:

 

1) Breaking up the Core Set: Selfishly I'd prefer if Reaper provides options to take only some themed portions of the Core Set as I'm in a place of collecting minis that I'm trying to fill in gaps more than get started into the hobby with a large sampling. However, definitely understand if the economics doesn't work for it whether it's a logistical headache, if it potentially pulls too many away from getting the Core Set as a whole, and/or if there's been any changes from Bones 5 that makes it harder to do this for any number of valid reasons. So, one more vote to break up the core set, but won't be salty if they don't.

 

2) Puck/Peter Pan-esque Option/Fan Favorite item: As one of many who asked for Fey, I'm very, very happy with the Briarwood Vale Expansion. Only thing I (once again selfishly) will plug in if there's a chance in an Option or if they're doing Fan Favorites again at the end is some sort of male fey figure(s) that has sort of a Puck or Peter Pan type flair, pretty much male counterparts to Daffodil, Lily, and Daisy. More than satisfied if that doesn't happen though.

 

Anyways, since I know Reaper always has to deal with some level of angst/entitlement during these Kickstarters, want to be one of the ones who says thanks and that I think Reaper keeps getting better and better.

For example:

• Wooden pillars, some of which have cool ornaments(or perhaps a dartboard) hanging from them.
• Cabinets and bookshelves.
• A cook?!
• The unspeakable thing in the basement!
• The shady couple of guys in the corner.
• A stage?
• The extravagant corner section, for the rich people.
• The Guest of Honor chair!
• The wine rack!
• The busy bed. 😏
• The good bed.
• The "good" bed.
• The notice board!
• More flagons, plates, and the like!
• Etc.

I’d settle for more sitting patrons (one would look real nice sitting on a cart full of goods) but I would 100% back a second full expansion with the more niche items matching the theme.  One for “dms first tavern”, one for “I legitimately have like six minis for surly bar tender already”.

Yah, so for nothing is really screaming "I NEED THIS!", which is odd as there is usually something that always says that at the start of Bones KS. Again, as I said earlier, allot of what has been shown, I have already, as years of be able to go to ReaperCon, I've made it a point to visit the metal bins & pick up figures. The ones that direct copies of metal figures would just be me getting more of those, but in Bones. I consider myself a metalhead, but I definitely consider myself a gamer & metal figures can get spendy. I was all in on the Core for 5, not so much for 6. I hope Reaper re-considered allowing seperate core items for sale. With the way things are these days, it'll probably take till Bones 7 (yes, you know there is gonna be one, someday) before some of these figures reach retail.

 

There hasn't been really anything in the expansions that has really grabbed me either. The Fae one would be great but I highly doubt my players will still be playing Witchlight by the time I get these (thou you never know.....). If anything, the fund I've dedicated to this will go to the kickstarter, but who knows right now what I'll get.

 

I will be getting the Pathfinder goblin chibis. I'm glad they made them a Add-On & by themselves.
