bandit86
I would love to see an expansion set of Winter themed figures. there are a lot of winter game and setting but not lots of figures. Expansion 1 winter adventures Expansion 2 winter civilians and set pieces Expansion 3 beasties (big yetis, wolves and other frozen type things) then you can do Winter add on's encounter type things. Contact me if you need ideas 🙂

Or sort of a follow up, or prequel with some warmly clad humanoids (regheds?), sleds, yaks and some frost mephits? frost salamanders? frost giant? I have been trying to come up with low level enemies from cold climate not a lot comes to mind. It seems that cold seems to favor larger creatures. Standard beasts and animals could be used in most climates depending on the basing and color scheme for the minis. Wolves, owlbears, even trolls and ogres, (edit: ooh, and bugbears) could be potentially adjusted to the wintery scheme with a toned down pallete and a bit more of the blue hue and some tint. Frost themed goblins, wearing fur and hats. Snow foxes and wolves do well in cold countries. But yes, cold favours larger sizes because that means less surface area relative to body size, and thus less heat loss. Still, the cold itself is quite the enemy 😉
snitchythedog
I don't know why but I am stoked about this:
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted March 17, 2022 Author Moderator Share Posted March 17, 2022 I could get behind some cold weather themed figures.
redambrosia
And they already have a lot of awesome cold themed minis in the metal catalogue they can convert over, if they’re so inclined. 4
MoonglowMinis
Not to make this a "things I'd like to see" chat, but agreeing with the others about winter minis. That was one of my big hopes for this one, and one of the reasons I kept pushing for a "nordic" expansion. But I believe it was stated somewhere that we wouldn't be seeing that this time around. Fortunately it does look like we'll be getting some sort of desert expansion. So one half of my hot/cold request will be answered! Honestly, I'm just so swamped with generic setting minis that more specialized climates and environments are way more appealing.
kristof65
Given that my D&D campaign PCs are currently stuck in a realm of ice & snow, and will be there for most of the rest of the campaign, I'd love cold theme minis as well. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure this campaign will be over before B6 ships.

There were a lot of calls in chat to make them patches or decals, as they did with factions for the last RVE. They'd also make good art for t-shirts, IMO. T-Shirt I could do. Not a fan of patches or decals but if there's an audience for it, do it.

I buy Nalgene bottles just for all my nerdy stickers. I would totally buy the Egyptian one in whatever format it releases as!
ksbsnowowl
The Bones 6 Core Set initial 30 mini's. Price will be $125. Got to admit, I'm not that enamored with most of what they have presented here. Conversely, I loved a lot of the first 31 offered up in Bones 5. The Bog Shambler is the best thing in there, IMO. I'm also not a fan of the free 16 zombies. They were the core set zombies from Bones 5 that were added near the end of the campaign (may have even been last day), and I find their sculpts bland and uninspired. Really wish it had been something great, like the Lizardfolk from Bones 3 (?) I'm sure I'll still get a Core Set, but so far I'm not that impressed. FYI- Ed stated they are not planning to offer the Core Set subdivisions, like they did in Bones 4 & 5 (extra constructs, extra spell effects, etc.) That's a bummer, but I get it from a fulfillment complexity perspective. A bar maid from the Green Griffin. My tablet is being finicky, so ill have to add more pics later. Slightly zoomed in screen shots from when the image was blown up a bit on Reaper Live.
