corbie
Definitely getting that dragon... ... even though I still haven't finished any of the big ones from Bones V. 😅

Evilhalfling
So far Drakkenwood is a must have. and the 30th anv. dragon. + chibli dragon. extra ants, if offered chibli goblins ? gnolls? - on the fence. I want them, but might want other stuff more. Im okay with being picky, I have never been all in - I average 200 figures from each Kickstarter. If I go low on this one, I will probably get the core next time. My track record for figuring our what I want to paint 18 months later isn't great. some expansions sets sit virtually untouched or even get resold - then I bought Dreadmere at a hefty markup and painted a big chunk of it. The Stygian Barge was dryfit, checked for missing pieces and never opened again. Dinosaurs just didn't work for me. the Yog-Shogoth and Mudgulper remain untouched. while I paint absurd freehand cloaks on what seemed like a really boring bunch of elven archers from the core. the only thing that I have always picked right is dragons. I always want to paint the dragons that I thought looked amazing in teasers and rarely have bought one that I passed on. so my rule of thumb is if i like a dragon I should buy it. Although admittitly both the wife and the cat have started to complain about the number of painted dragons I have on display. Or the cat thinks they should be ablle to fly, and keeps giving them chances. He is not my brightest pet. 13

I'm pretty sure any given village has roughly the same amount of men as women, so why? Because the men stayed behind while their women and children could escape... 15 hours ago, ksbsnowowl said: Bigger pics. Honestly, my only issue with this is the helmet. Put it on or take it off damn it. Dont half-broccoli it. I sort of wish she was more mage like.

Jeronimus
At least the half-helmet is true to the usual portrayal of Athena that it's inspired by. I like the sculpt, I really like the idea of the 'cloud hair' making her look very unique, but I do think people have valid criticism that could be tweaked. I think that was kept in mind when it was first posted as a work-in-progress.

Options are always better, no argument there. I think it would be cost prohibitive for big minis.

ksbsnowowl
Someone in the comments suggested giving the Storm Giant a head option. One as shown, and one with the helmet worn properly, as if for battle. I think that’s a really good idea. I love the sculpt as presented, but for gameplay I’d prefer helmet on, or no helmet at all. So, I’m all for a head option. Whether that is helmetless or a fully worn helm for the second head, either would be a great addition to the model.
Piata
One reason why this kickstarter may not be doing as well as those in the past: every Canadian backer from Bones V got hit with import fees. This may also apply to European backers as well. Considering most board game kickstarters have friendly shipping these days, that was a huge shock. It's certainly the first time I got a $50 bill to receive something from kickstarter when I already paid shipping. Previous Bones (at least in Canada) did not have this issue. So I personally have been leery of backing. The shipping + import fees are simply too high and there are solutions to this; Reaper just doesn't care. 4

I don't know what sort of strange arcane rules the couriers/border agency use, but sometimes I get hit with extra fees, other times I don't. Sometimes it's simply the GST+sales tax (sill almost +15%) In any case, cross border shipping gets expensive fast! I know I've skipped on KS campaigns, or even regular online purchases, from the US because of the S&H fees.

They’ll send out emails to backers, linking you to go back into the PM and pay your shipping. Your order won’t get pulled, packed, and shipped until you pay the shipping. If fulfillment starts when it’s cold, just wait until it’s warmer to pay your shipping.
Ratmaster2000
Well, not entirely Bones 6 Kickstarter related, but I just realized I am not sitting on 100 projects pledged on kickstarter:( Hmm, I may have a problem. Now, onto B6 specifically, I know personally, B6 started out with nothing I really wanted/needed but when the shadows expansion hit they finally pulled me in:) I love undead (skeletons especially), so I think I'll definitely be getting that one. NOW, as others have said, if they split up the core set I will definitely be getting some ants! Hopefully we get some THEM! sized ants, but I guess I'll take what I can get:) I may not like EVERYTHING reaper is putting out, but that is the beauty of these Kickstarters, there is always SOMETHING I like. As long as they keep doing that, I am in!
