If you are a backer, you will get most updates straight to your email bin. Then you can print and colour your own Egyptian cat warrior while you wait for more reveals! You can also see the next reveal for Dungeons Deep, which I think is a really nice mini.

And printing the concept is also a great way of testing out a few colour schemes without the hassle of having to strip the mini 'cos the amazing concept you came up looked rather more Meh! than Wow!

SO a big shout out for concept stuff to be seen, like in the previous Bones KickStarters, which were such a wild ride.

I like that barbarian lady!

It also reignites my desire for a range of '100% accurate to the Talin artwork' minis.

Yesss!  Talin Mini's and a kind of Monster Manual of her works.  That would be Fantastic!

I'm definitely intrigued by the possibility of a bog encounter. But as a wetland scientist I'm going to be overly critical about what's in it....

Anyways, that's my super-nerdy rant for the day. Getting excited to see some more cool stuff!

LOL! The bane of being a biologist when playing with fantasy!

Don't get me started on the environmental biology of zombies... 😄

Sanjay, I almost said, "The giant holds back the invaders as the Canada Geese make their escape!" 🙂

Canadian geese as part of the bog set would be terrifying. They’d be the most dangerous part of any wetlands encounter. Unlike zombies, Canadian geese have a flight speed. Both share a similar mentality for just going where they please, and eating whatever is in their path.

I didn't see him posted yet, so here's a yeti from Denziens:

A fun reply Ron left on the KS comments in response to someone asking why a Yeti was in the Dungeons expansion:

Quote

Well, that "yeti" could be used as a number of other things. Ape-men, quaggoths, yeti, and on and on and on

I support more Crazy Canada animals. I could really use a good moose figure. Mooses like eating swamp-goop, yes?

I do love the Talin art and the barbarian lady, but I must admit, the character is still an individual 28-32mm scale humanoid cast in Bones plastic. That's not going to pull me into the KS more, even if it is a very good figure. 10 of them wouldn't do it - just on the premise that Bones IV and V filled the need for that sort of thing *really* well. If I saw it in retail and had a specific character in mind who fit it, I'd absolutely go for it. If I was a new DM in need of a pile of figures, I'd be overjoyed by good ones like that.

But.... two big buy-ins have spoiled me for that type of figure, at least when bought in bulk. So I hope that Bones VI finds more new DMs in need of a similar stash.

Current thoughts in no particular order from the household of @Disserrma and myself (Long time forever DM).

Most importantly, there has not been ONE mini that has been previewed, or added that I, personally, have disliked.  More than a few we're likely to pass on for various reasons .... but I'm absolutely, positive, that we'll be able to fill out our planned budget with mini's we want/need, either in the KS proper, or the PM period.

Core:  Odds of us NOT getting this, are low.  Second set of Ants? strong chance.  Any other break outs?  We'll see what if any are offered!   Second Nightmare?  - I'm ok with not all of the Core being broken out as options, but would love to see a few here and there broken out like the teased Ants.  Heck, I'm ok with requiring a Core purchase to open up the option of Core Extras, though, equally ok with that not being a thing.  The Core value is just too good to pass up lightly.

Briarwood: Definitely getting.  Disse loves Fae, the way I do Dragons....  this was a low bar, and they sailed over it with ease.  Going to echo that I'd love to see some more Fae represented, such as Fauns/Satyrs or other male variations in addition to the lovely ladies.  Wouldn't mind seeing Fae expansions every Bones kickstarter here on out!

Sullenhall: Depending on other things as they appear, strong contender.  We have no ... NEED for more than half the sculpts here, but napkin math of the ones I DO want, put it WELL over the $50 retail marker.

GG: Again, depending on other options, a strong contender:  Going to echo, would love to see more representation in this theme.

Denizens and Lost Tombs?  Excited to see!  Can't make the judgement call here yet, due to insufficient data.  We didn't get Dungeon Dwellers last time, as despite having many wonderful things in it .... we had many of the things we wanted from it already, and just couldn't make the math work.

Painter's Picks: Hard to guess what paint supplies we'll have in two years, and the current stock of some of these isn't low ... we'll see how funding holds up!

Gnolls: Fair chance at picking these up, Gnolls is under represented in our collection.

Multi-part Men at Arms: Love the idea, but no personal need for this.

Orcs: The only one of the set that I strongly want, is the one with the Whip.  I think the niche the rest of these fit is overfull in our collection.

Chibi:
Heroes: I think we're passing? Not sure, they're wonderful sculpts, but doesn't fit our niche precisely, and therefore there are a number of other things we'd like MORE.
Goblins: These?  These are more likely.  The Chibi Style actually fits the Gobo's well.
Dragon: I like dragons!  (Strong Probable!)

The other things teased?  There were a number of like! things in this thread, and well, regardless of where this kickstarter ends, be it 2M or 20M, there WILL be things we want, but can't justify in our hobby budget.... and we've gone fairly deep in several prior kickstarters, despite the last several attempts at "Less."

On the front of the newest teasers, the lovely Barbarian lass.  I, as forever DM, have no character immediately in mind that she fills perfectly ... but, if we end up getting her, there's a VERY strong probability she'll get painted, and if she's painted, I might just end up with a something to use the wonderful figure.  That, and of the 15 people in my current, active, games, 7 are female.  Just because I don't have an immediate use for the mini ... doesn't mean that one of the players in one of the games doesn't get inspired!

So, I started writing an encounter for one of my games, centered around the Boren ratcatcher figure. The sculpt is very inspiring and flavorful, and it just cried out to be part of the story. And I finished writing, and I loved it. And then I realized I won’t have the mini for two years, and I was sad.

Then I realized I can order the old sculpt in metal! Huzzah! So now I’m going through the core set, figuring out which classic models I need to order to keep me from getting too impatient. And I’m really mad at reaper. And I love them. And I’m broke. But happy.

This is emotional roller coaster has been brought to you by Bones 6.
