vulture Posted April 9, 2022 Share Posted April 9, 2022 Those wyverens are really nice. My kids will love them in 2 years. Dwellers might be my first miniatures of the campaign. Im hoping they do breakouts at some point because I'd be in for the familiars and mongrelfolk, too. That said, I will (2x) any paint offered, instantly. With models of basically anything available to me in my collection already (justifying re-purchases is tough - wyverns made the cut!), or with the click of a button, I'm really looking for pieces by my favorite artists. That, and the flavorful encounters. Those types of sets will always draw me in, but we haven't really seen any yet this time around. bearsman6 Posted April 9, 2022 Share Posted April 9, 2022 I just realized that some of the reveal goals have changed value. Check 5/5 Briarwood, for example. It's now $1,465,000 instead of 1.9m. That's pretty huge. It also suggests Reaper is tweaking things more than realized to try to increase hype and push value, getting later things unlocked too. It's interesting to me because I genuinely do have extra budgeted money that I would like to spend here... But nothing else I want currently to up my pledge. I'm in for Core, Vale, and Ants. And don't get me wrong, I do love several parts of the other things, but I also don't need more zombies or bar stuff. (I literally crafted my own whole bar terrain since I wrote an adventure set in one.) Burning through these revealed expansions and putting more options on the board should lead to more pledging from people like me. This time around, I'm only backing the core and the green Griffin before the end of the month. Normally, I back everything I want up front in order to help unlock as many stretch goals as I can. I am currently not working, I have something going on, (may be heart issues) and I am on medical leave at this time. Oh, I have "all the things." In bones and metal. I really like painting animals, and have done entire threads of reaper animal familiars and companions.
