corbie
The chonky boy is an instant buy for me. What an absolute unit.
bearsman6
I like that they're showing up front that he's on a 3" base. Also, here's that badass sculpt again. SEXY! And I just realized that the 1" base pack they're adding is "approximately 50 bases"! That's huge! I don't know why, but I just vastly prefer this thick dragon sculpts over the leaner hand-sculpted style. They both fit my mental image better, and I feel are more fun to paint. Guess its just a preference thing. Hoping we see some more unusual dragons going forward as I have yet to paint any of the Bones 5 ones. Maybe some "good" dragons, or more crystal options. Someone mentioned a mummy dragon for Hakar. That'd be a fun take on a dracolich for the d&d folks, or just a cool model for everyone else. 5
Nunae
Love the dragon as well. I like dragons of varying forms and bodyshapes, it just adds character. Glad to finally see something to increase my pledge for!

Would love an updated sculpt or even just a straight Bones version of that lad. Edited April 12, 2022 by corbie

Maybe a bit less skeletal and more mummified flesh with bandages hanging off. Love the touches of armor/jewelry whatever on that old one though.
JoeGKushner
A little disappointed they dropped the whole 'Encounters' naming convention. I can't be the only one who remembers the old Grenadier 'Encounter At XXX" with a few terrain pieces, heroes, and villains? They even had gaming stats. With Reaper doing things like the Green Griffin PDF, they could add actual 'Encounters', PDF and game stats with maps. And no three stage characters? If true, that's another sigh and missed opportunity to hit that old nostalgia spot. 3

Hakir hasn’t grabbed me yet but king tut the blue dragon would instantly require thematic friends.

Reaper recently released a couple adventures based on groups of minis from Bones V. I don't think any of them were for the actual encounters that were in the KS, but that would be a super cool added value to the encounter if it came with a short module or text to fuel part of an adventure. They are on the Reaper website in the Dungeon Dwellers section. 5

Hoping for something like that.
