Very nice work. I love to see the old stuff painted well.

Thank you Inarah, always more to come!

Love them all and a great paintjob.

One little thing: that Axe Wielder, I don't think it's a mustache, I think it's a piercing maybe bone...Since these are based on Meso American warriors and since it's on the sides and not under the nose?

Hi Glitterwolf!  You might be right, but I have a feeling it was supposed to be one of these little moustaches:

which in any case would have meant I probably should have stayed with a more ruddy skin tone and not go with the "golden skin" approach, but oh well, too late now...

Great work, and I totally see the Cantiflas vibe on the axe guy.  Love the vibrant colors.

Thank you Darcstaar, upon hindsight, he's probably not Asian, but alas....

It was fun doing a bunch of different colors.  Sadly it makes me acutely aware of how few bright colors I have available to me sometimes.

Definitely a lot to like, here. Great work on the skin tones...for all four. I'm loving the pops of color on the clothing. As you indicated, such colors don't usually come into play, but they're very appropriate here and work great

Yeah, three of those figures had so much going on with them, it was a pity to not take advantage of all the colors possible. With Cantinflas it was a bit different because he was a far simpler figure.  Two main colors were more than enough with him!

When I paint Meso American Natives I use Reaper Tanned Skin and add a little , little drop of Reaper Terracotta to create a little reddish skintone.

For my Native American skin, I've been using Redstone Highlights as my base color.
