Presenting the Cleric of Maersuluth, now that Reapers latest painting competition is over I can show off my entry for it!

 

He didn't do particularly well (I think I came last), but I like him and, more importantly, I had a lot of fun painting a mini I probably wouldn't have purchased otherwise.

 

As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Such a strange model.  You definitely did it justice, and I think the weathering looks good.

He definitely looks like he was fun to paint. The oxidation effect on the armor came out nicely. The texturing on the claw and shell armor is nice, too. I do think that maybe some minor highlighting on the starfish might have been a good idea (not too much, though...they make a great focal point with that orange color).

The starfish have a bit of an orange/yellow highlight that doesn't show up too well, probably should've just used yellow but I was worried it would be too stark.

sorry I missed the voting or u would of had mine, and as @Grand Slam said that armor is to die for.

esspecially on the helm, sooooo gruesome hehe.
