Factions of Galladoria - Scenery/Terrain Specifically Themed for Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs! Plus Palisades!

Recommended Posts

This KS launched yesterday, and is already funded(with two stretch goals unlocked)! 😄

Factions of Galladoria gives you a set of scenery pieces themed around four different factions: Humans, dwarves, elves, and orcs! They all have their own, unique takes on beds, tables, chairs, chests, and even siege engines! Ever wanted to make a dwarf specific tavern? Well, here are beds, tables, chairs, and more for that. How about an orc specific barracks? This KS has got you covered!

I'm rather excited for this KS. The stuff is made in the US, so supply chain issues shouldn't be a problem. And there's a lot of cool stuff here at very good prices! At the lowest (unpainted) pledges, it's between $1.1 and $1.5 per mini in each accessory pack and $10 per siege engine, which is already decent prices in my personal opinion. But if you go for the "unpainted all in" pledge (8 accessory sets and 4 siege engines) of $120, it's only 75% of that, which averages out to about a dollar per mini in the accessories, and $7.50 per siege engine! 😄

$120 nets you the unpainted version of everything in the picture above, btw! Plus any non addon stretch goal stuff! But there are a bunch of other options as well!

It all looks really good as well, and each accessorry set has both regular beds and bunk beds, which I find really cool! 😄

Oh, and it's possible to get everything hand painted as well!

Current stretch goals map:

Btw, this is Galladoria's new KS campaign after they cancelled the fortress one, which was just too big of a project. Also, I'm not affiliated with them, just very enthusiastic! xD

They unlocked a bunch of palisade walls today. This is getting exciting.

Also, it was made clear in a comment in Update #4 that everything in this KS is SioCast. For terrain of this size, I think that’s a fantastic option.

I love my Galladoria Games stuff. Did a mousling-themed diorama entry with their stuff a couple years back called Mouslings of Galladoria. Missed ‘em at ReaperCon ‘21. 🥲

Are you going to be at Reapercon this year Adrift? I believe we are going to do painting awards there again this year!  Hope to see you again 🙂

I’ll definitely be there! 😆

Been a bit busy the last few days, so just been following along from the sidelines. But man, this KS has really taken off! I love those palisades, and I threw in some extra money for it. So I'm in for $250, which is as much as I can back right now. Will probably throw some more extra money into this in the PM, when that time comes. 😄

Oh, looks like we made the 28k stretch goal, "Human Barricade"! 😄

Also interesting: This terrain will be made in the same plastic as Bones USA(SioCast). 😄

Edit: Oh, and we've reached the 150 backers stretch goal, unlocking the Orc Tent!

Eerie in the contrast of their lethal size and silent movement, ScorpionMechs are deployed on the orbital and planetside battlefield when no quarter is to be given to the enemy, and none expected.
                  They're colony killers.

You send them in when you want the enemy base and any feeble defenders protecting it razed to the ground.
These scuttling terrors can chop enemy armors in half in close quarters or pound them to pieces from a distance.  Using a variety of modular payloads, the ScorpionMech can tailor its weapons suite to the mission, whether it be cold, quiet up-close killing, napalm and gatling cascades at ballistic distances, or missiles beyond the horizon.
(Pre-production 28mm ScorpionMech sample shown with additional Viper Suit weaponry.  Waldo and PugBots shown for size ref)

Though they usually make their way overland to the target, there are rumors of ScorpionMechs deploying from orbit with bolted-on belly packs containing fuel and maneuvering thrusters.  The thought of an orbital insertion of these lethal machines is terrifying, but not beyond reason.  There is even a confirmed case of a jetpack-equipped ScorpionMech being used to rip a pirate raider's ship to pieces during an attempted boarding action.  Needless to say, scratch one pirate ship.
Viper suit pilots may try and put a brave face on it, but when faced with a ScorpionMech, they know that the best place to be is somewhere else.

Just launched a Kickstarter for a comprehensive line of 6mm Chinese Warring States miniatures.  There are 16 different packs to choose from, with all miniatures sculpted by Chris Smith of Wakes Emporium.
The sculptor also has a Patreon focused on small scale miniatures, and is definitely worth a look for any 3D printing hobbyists with an interest in the smaller scales:
Due to my inability to collect VAT, the KS is closed to pledges in the UK, but all miniatures will be made available to UK customers after the campaign via my Etsy store which remits the VAT for me.
Some shots of the packs on offer:
