Reaperbryan
That's beacuase no one recognizes the obvious superiority of the the forces of Denelspire. *sigh* Superiority . . . of . . . The . . . forces . . . of . . . Denlsp . . Nah - Can't get through that with a straight face. For the Glory of Sokar!
Ech'Estar
Hah! All races (except maybe those ugly undead) will be made to slaves by the forces of Craclaw! None can oppose the will of Khardullis.

SaintRigger
The more you all squabble about your pitiful armies, the more who are added to the legions of the undead hoard.

Kelcore
superiority of the the forces of Denelspire. Did you forget that the Darkspawn aren't there anymore? Why, no. I didn't! that's why I made that statement. Now that the riff raff's gone, it's a respectable establishment again! And Bryan, remember, after I get done with your Nefsokar, Tariq will be washing dishes in the Denelspire kitchens. Believe dat!

ladystorm
Just currious, what do the Powers That Be at Reaper consider an "adequate" demo force for Warlord? How many models, how many factions? *ahem* back on topic. I just pulled out my troops for my next few events. We are using one leader model, three ranged(archer/crossbowmen) and three fighters(axe/sword/stick) grunts. I've got Reven, 2 Crusaders, 2 Necropolis, Dwarves, Nefsokar, and Overlord (mostly proxies in Overlords) factions ready to go. I have enough for 8 players even though I do prefer to keep it at 4-6. We'll be running a Lost Sword game. (like the mummy king/pyramid artifact recovery from the summer cons)
Cerridwyn1st
Thanks, Cheryl, that's exactly the info I was looking for. Your make up is slightly different from what I was running with the Reven vs. Dragon scenario, where it was one leadership, six grunts and two archers. Any reason for the change? Could you give a few more details about the scenario? I only saw that setup for a few minutes, and I remember there also being spellcasters in the group. Any additional details would be appreciated. I've got a dragon to use for a Reven vs. Dragon bout, but I will probably have other factions in addition to the Reven. I could probably do 3 - 4 Reven squads; not enough if I have a big group of players. A pyramid would be easy to construct and look cool as all get-out, so the scenario you are talking about would be a good addition. I just finished (with help from my friend Blake) a starter group of the Nefsokar, so I have the models for that. By the way, what do you use for Nefsokar archers? I was thinking using Warlord Skeletal Archers as stand-ins, but I'm open to suggestion.

I use nefsokar Khamsin Herdsmen, dremel off the polearms, bend the arms, drop on a quivr and a bow frm the DH wepaons packs, Since their stat cards they are not undead, doing the same to mummies would be wrong . . . . Stats for Khamsin Rangers
FreeFall
Great idea Bryan! I may have to try that... Now the big question. Will such conversions be legal per the latest Reaper Official Tournament rules clarifications? They are conversions, but they are still Khamsin models. SaintRigger
I think with a little work, the Black Legionary models might make decent stand-ins as they aren't dead looking, but retain an egyptian flavor. There is one with an axe in one hand hand that would be a really simple conversion. (not the one with the two handed axe overhead) Not a warlord model.. but still reaper, and would be an easier conversion, I think... but I'm also not sure where these will stand in for official rules. Drifting back on target is only a minor setback for the dead.. we have all of eternity ahead of us. Relentless we'll plod on..... ;)
