Double 99 Euro pledges cost 50 Euros more, but may be good if you want more SG's -- and another tarrasque. 😛

 

Archon usually has a 48-hour EB of a free mini. Otherwise, wait until mid- or late campaign to pledge to reach the SG's.

 

I have the Loke Battle Mats "The Wilderness" books, so already have a swamp mat. The plants in the Swamp set look good for jungles and the Reaper Dreadmere Bones set!

 

Also, check if the D&L3 late pledge is available, if you missed D&L3. Usually, the late pledges are the same price as KS.

 

Throwing 149 euros at one time is sure easier than deciding on one set for 99! 😛

Hm, that's definitely more tempting prices. Can probably talk myself into at least the 99 duo set. Interested to see what other settings they'll have though, I have a lot of terrain covering swamp/forest already.

That's more like it! Though to me the Gamefound page still seems to imply there is a map in the sets. Biggest drop of price for the creature pack ofc, who apparently didn't even have a map to lose. For 99 $ that was rather pricy, for half that it's an auto include for me.

That’s kickstarter thinking. Gamefound campaigns generally require you to ‘follow’ the campaign prior to launch.

Not sure what to think on this one.  Very impressive terrain, feel like it’d get a lot of warfame play, but maybe doubling up on the swamp terrain might be more functional for my needs?
 

They’ve also updated the images to reflect the mats being separate.

I have KDM, so would like to know from KDM owners if the Giants terrain is a good match for the KDM board.

 

Heroic and Legendary pledges added. Legendary also has the D&L4 add-ons. Only seeing two mats, which is fine because Giants and Creators don't really need their own mats.

 

199 Euro : Heroic: 6 sets, plus SG4 and Terrasque.

399 Euro : Legendary: 6 sets, plus SG4 and Terrasque, D&L4 add-ons, one of each D&L1-3 fantasy room or core, D&L3 add-ons, including SG2 fantasy.

Legendary is a good way to catch up with D&L3, although the Townsfolk minis and SG3 aren't there. But if you didn't like the human mini's scale (28mm truescale, smaller than Reaper 28mm/32mm heroic), that might be a good thing! Legendary has the smaller add-ons (eg. stairs), which I thought were overpriced but necessary in D&L3 relative to the core and SG. You may want to get another Roof pack, as each covers about two rooms.

 

EDIT: Roof pack removed from pledge, replaced with SG3. 

 

The marginal 200 Euro cost of the Legendary pledge gets you both mats, both D&L4 add-ons, both fantasy cores, all six D&L rooms, SG2 fantasy, and the overpriced miniatures and small add-ons. I counted 16 major add-ons (rooms, core as two rooms, add-ons as one room, ignored miniatures and minor add-ons). I expect Rapid Delivery so you can get your D&L3 loot in a first wave!

 

I'll probably stick to 149 Adventurer, because I have D&L1-3. 

 

Again, follow the project on Gamebound BEFORE the 14th so you get your free overpriced 80mm tall Leshy miniature! 😛

Looks like a pass for me.  It overlaps with terrain I already have and I don't really want 28x14 mats. If they would have had a 36x36 or something I would have likely bought that.

I’m not sure I’ll back this one. As cool as it looks, I think most of it I could 3D print myself. I guess I’m just not the target audience for this.

I asked in the comments how many ants are in the upcoming "Ants Complete" SG. Probably only one, since the picture shows only one ant. 😞

 

I mostly play miniature skirmishes (eg. Song of Blades and Heroes). Waiting on the SG's and passing on the maps because I already have enough for 3x3 miniature skirmishes. I've noticed that, while I like all sorts of miniatures and want those that match exactly my character's loadout (eg. elf with spear and crossbow for Lasting Tales!), I'm less particular about terrain. The edge of town where the graveyard is works fine with me for most battles. So all this stuff is really neat, but not a must-have, since I already have some sort of terrain I can use (eg. Reaper's Graveyard set from a Bones KS, Mantic Terrain Crate trees, OOP Terra Tiles 2D rivers and hills, OOP Epyx buildings).

 

I'd switch to 3D printing if it didn't have fumes. Major advantage of 3D printing is custom miniatures. I have Bones I-IV and can't find an elf with a spear and crossbow. 😛

 

Getting closer to the stagecoach. WizKids charges too much for that (Adventurer's Campsite, $50), and some of their pieces I hear were broken!

I really like the stagecoach. I decided to go in at first for the 2 set, but then I caved and went for the Adventurer 4 set. i don't need much more swamp stuff but I'll just consider it getting the 3 sets I like and more swamp stuff for free.
