Quick question for today as I've been doing Facebook security management, plus waiting on my mom as we are gonna do a early lunch & a little bit of shopping around town this morning soon.

June 2nd Question of the Day:

Ever had to do security management due to a broccoli person wanting to mess with your personal life?

I'll go with yes.  Once due to a friend (yay, stalkers), at least once due to a bank (and them then blaming me for six months until hackers went public with the info *rolls eyes*), and probably a few other times.

The pseudonym thing is something  I do as well, because hey, it's an easy way to filter some things. It's even better when they use a name you'd NEVER go by in person, or haven't since you were four...

There's a huge reason I don't have a Facebook account, the biggest being they wanted my ID and I pretty much laughed in their faces and nuked the account because a) I was tired of how it worked anyways, and b) they have no good reason to see that information.  Don't even have much personal information on my public Twitter either, because why would I?

Ooh! Never-have-I-ever!

Okay... Never have I ever painted a dragon. I don't even have one in the closet. They don't really show up in Frostgrave and I think the LotR one has a horrible sculpt. The second Spellcaster supplement has dragons, but they are either tiny or super powerful. I have a LotR cave drake. I am planning on buying the Bones 6 dragons; Chunky reminds me of me and the 30th is awesome.

Never have I ever modelled a regular house. A peasant dwelling, a cottage, a cabin, hut. In my defense, Egyptians built monuments out of stone, things to last forever like temples and crypts. Houses were built out of mud bricks. That said, a number of the Stargrave scenarios I am converting need peasant housing of some form, so I will be getting foam core and making the sterotypical Arabian pueblos that show up in every fantasy desert.

June 1st Question of the Day:

So currently in my Weds night FLGS D&D game, I'm using yuan-ti of various types. A popular D&D creature but one I've never really used before in all the years of D&D gaming. Is there one creature, you've never used before while DM/GMing a game. If not a gamer, how about a miniature type, one you've never painted before say goblins or dragons, etc etc.

It's been some time since I last gamed, but we never seemed to end up under water.  So I don't believe I've ever used most of the aquatic races/creatures.

I had my credit card # stolen 3 times in 8 months several years back, it wasn't until later that I found out it was because the guy hacked into my Kickstarter account. I switched to two-factor authentication after that, luckily the Edmonton police called me for the investigation and eventually caught the guy, he got jail time for it.

Yes, had a bank breach once. They spent 500$ in 10 individual 50$ phone cards. We fought back and forth with the bank. We eventually got our money back but whoever was in fraud did not want to believe that it wasn't us. The bank staff themselves believed us though. We eventually got it sorted but I did have to report to all credit bureaus and cut off my access to getting credit cards for 10 years.

Nope.

Had my credit card details stolen a few times, luckily my bank is surprisingly quick at catching stuff like that.

That is about the extent of it for myself also.

June 3rd Question of the Day:

Supposedly it's national donut day here in the US. Will you partake in one today? Buy some for later?

If not in the US, do you guys have anything similar to national "sweet pastry treat" day?

If I do not hear about these National ________[insert food item here]_______

Days in advance I will fail to partake.

I am kinda done with donuts. They don’t taste as good as they did when I was younger. Counter Question:

Did we do this very topic, or one very close to it,  in one of the previous two months?

I think I remember people mentioning the Apple Fritter among other things.

No, I have no particular plans to participate.

I only like donuts when fresh, so I will not buy any for later. No participating donut places around here where I can get a free one, and I'm not likely to go drive around looking for one. (Have you seen the price of gas lately?)

Got strawberries coming in from the garden and I've been making waffles to serve them on, that's sweet enough for me.

Well, not today since I just found out about it, and I have about 30 min to start getting ready for work. Maybe I can convince dad to make a run out to the donut shop and give Molly a car ride. Then I can participate when I get home after midnight.

Cruelly, the donut shop I would go to is not far from work, I just don't have the time to get there and to work without planning ahead of time. Curses...

No, no doughnuts today. There is a really great doughnut place not far from here, but is insane getting through there on any doughnut related holiday (believe it or not there are actually two national doughnut days, not to mention their Packzi day right before lent). So I can wait. Though I might make cookies later this evening to have something sweet this weekend.

Not that I'm aware of.

I'll eat what I want when I want it.
