Here is the first work of the June figs.  It’s some impish helper from Bones I Familiar pack.  Done with basecoats.

Trying to highlight to a creamy brown.  Kind of grey 😞

Blasted through him, calling it done.

Eyes done.  Skin shade layer is Lava Orange mixed with some Brown Liner.

Lava orange, Sunrise Orange, added Linen White.

Basecoats done.  Hair, armor, shoes Dragon Black.

Bag, lashing, bedroll Russet Brown.  Belt and bedroll strap Intense Brown.  Shadowed Stone on base.  Terran Khaki on bone.

Highlighted up black with Tropical Blue twice, then added some Weathered Stone.

Ok.  Finished this guy.

Next up is the Kord.  He’s the second I have for painting.  He’s been on my shelf of shame in this state for a few years.

Finished skin.  Rosy skin highlighted with 1:1 Rosy Highlight:Fair Skin.

 

Added some blood to a casting blemish on his left leg with Gory Red and Holly Berry.

 

I always see an ancient Celtic warrior in this guy rather than a Viking.

Hair/Beard with Carrot Top Red Triad.  Added Linen White to Highlight Orange for 4th layer for final highlight.

Olive Green Triad on the skirt.

Highlighted up the black horsehair trim. Dragon Black+Moldy Skin, then some Dragon White mixed in.

 

Steel NMM base: 1:1 Cloudy Grey:Tropical Blue

The phase of NMM I hate.  Worked down with additions of Worn Navy.  Started coming up with additions of Dragon White.

I thought it looked too blue.  I glazed all the metal except the darkest blue, with 3-4 diminishing layers of 2:1:1 Cloudy Grey:Tropical Blue:Dragon White.  Then highlighted a bit adding more white.  Then I did all the pure Dragon White edge highlighting and glints.  I think it looks ok.  Will stop here for steel NMM.
