The salamander looks deadly painted in those colors and your exoplanetary setting is amazing too.

Oh I love this!

Amphibians and Reptiles are among my favorite creatures.

Great choice of colours.

I LOVE those colors and how you used them! Gives it a great pulpy, tropical, alien look, and those patterns are 'spot' on.

Thanks! The 'official art' for a Frost Salamander is pretty drab compared to a lot of actual salamanders--gorgeous little creatures. My faves too. And I've been on an '80's kick and wanted some blue/purple/pink gradients. The aposematic spots followed naturally.

Retro-Venus is as lush and colorful as our actual Venus isn't! It's a planetary swamp jungle of shallow seas, steaming marshes, and megaforests where symbiosis rules the day. Most of the plants are mobile and many of them are actively predatory. Slime molds the size of glaciers ooze with deceptive speed through the undergrowth. The hazy, clouded atmosphere blocks out starlight and diffuses the nearby sun; while the Venerians understand biochemistry and ecology far better than anyone else, many still regard the idea of an 'outer space' beyond the sky to be mere superstition.

Good work on the colorful beastie, and the lovely heroine!

Thank you! She's a great sculpt with a lot of dynamic drive.

I love the frost salamander as a space monster. The blending is great and the spots on his back are so cool. Bright, vibrant piece that really works in this paint scheme.

Good job on Wanda, too. The colors complement each other well.
