This may be my best one yet.  Leaving heavily into edge highlight and layering.

I'm very happy with the results.

@Darcstaari fully agree.  The cape has a nice cream to white transition, but the photo washes it out a bit.  I think the cape could use "something" to spice it up.  Thanks for the note on the cape.  I need to find another white recipe to punch it up.

Currently it's Pale Sand to Splintered bone to off-white.  Slow, slow, slow build up.

I'm impressed by the work that went into those armor highlights... everything looks very smooth and natural. I'm equally impressed by how great the cape looks. I like it as-is. But, since you mentioned wanting to spice it up a bit, what do you think about adding another color for trim (or, perhaps, free-handing some light pattern work)?

@Grand Slamthank you.  I wish i could freehand.  I tried a few times on some elven cloaks doing a leaf pattern.  It was okay, but not great. Also the elves were nowhere near this level of painting, so i was less worried about messing up.  I suppose a trim is worth a shot.  I also asked for feedback to push myself outside of the comfort zone, so if i can muster the courage, I'll find design to mimic and try.  Thanks again!

Hello everyone, here's the fifth dwarf of my Slayer unit. This model was sculpted in the mid-90s by Aly Morrison.
Since I have two of these models in the unit I decided to convert this one. He was a standard bearer, I swap his banner for an axe.
