takai
I‘m all new to the forum and I thought: what better way to to engage than with a WIP thread about what‘s on my hobby desk today! I‘m looking forward to hearing your thoughts about this project, Blood Bowl, your favorite team or even star player or coach. So far I‘ve spent 12 hours prepping the lot, see the picture. Its the Hobbits from GW, Tree Man as well as Grak and Crumbleberry. Plus paraphernalia. PS: i‘m a bit unsure if it‘s ok to post this as the product as nothing to do with Reaper who are graciously hosting this. I tried my color scheme on one. Green-Yellow with a Brown-Purple. What would you change?
Inarah
Looks like a fun project. I like the tree man. What are the hands for? It's okay to show off other manufacturers minis here, just no commercial links to other sites. 4

Fron the sprue they look like they‘ll stand up but they don‘t. So I based them with a 20mm base.
takai
I kept going. The purple leather feels a bit weird rn.
Glitterwolf
Welcome to the Forum! They look cool, go for it! You might encounter text in purple on this forum, that's meant as jokes/irony etc.. Have fun!

Rigel
Little guys are looking great! I've never played it, but seeing some Blood Bowl paintings on various blogs is part of what got me hooked on the mini-painting hobby. If you're not satisfied with the purple pants I'd suggest either a warmer brown or a stronger, redder purple. I think it works as-is though!
takai
I had to take a week off here, due to work. Coming back home late yesterday, I immediately sat down this morning to paint two of them. I finished the acrylic base layer with shades through zenithal and brushed in as well. Did the first highlights too. So the palette is set now and there‘s a lot of room for making them succinct. I really need to think about the squirrels. This one turned out a bit like a pig. Edited June 25 by takai

takai
This Sunday saw sorrow and I withdrew to my painting desk for a while. I did quite a bit of work and here‘s where the unfinished models are at. Some are closer to having their base layer done than others. I thought about the decals and would actually love some advice although its a very technical question. Should I apply the oil wash before or after sticking the decals? I’m worried about the white spirit damaging the decals. Added pics of the finished ones, 6 so far.

takai
No painting yesterday but after ten hours of work I managed to sit down tonight. Finished the base layer for Grak and the two coins. That’s 13/22 done if I’m counting correctly. More than halfway! Afterwards I did some airbrush work on the Treeman.
