Popular Post Spooktalker
Was happy to finish one of my favorite Bones figures recently and check another monster off the Monster Manual checklist. \
Grand Slam
Very nice...clearly monochromatic, but there's enough variation in the shades of blue to keep it visually interesting. The eyes are great, too.
Glitterwolf
Nice blue! Comes off as nocturnal or cavedweller to me. Good one!
Darcstaar
Great job! This paint job can come off as so many things. In a lightless cave, moonlight, spectral/ghost, and of course just a blue behir.

Big Bad Wolf
Very interesting approach. And it came out real nice. I have the same model, an have an urge to start it but find it somewhat intimidating with all its pieces and switchbacks. Did you paint each segment before assembly and then touched up the joins as you assembled? Or did you paint it all in one piece? Great job all the same.
Spooktalker
Thanks all, glad you like it! 😃 14 hours ago, Big Bad Wolf said: Did you paint each segment before assembly and then touched up the joins as you assembled? Or did you paint it all in one piece? Glued first, then based, then a ton of slicing mold lines with X-acto, then painted. First figure I've brushed primed, and just stuck an old brush in the crevices where it had pulled away. I can't remember whether I did putty work on joins before or after a basecoat. It might have been after, thinking it would stick better to the paint. With the 3" base to hold on to it was fine to tilt it upside down to get anywhere. I would never paint before assembly because otherwise I would never get anywhere, so I'd encourage you to just go for it! 😄👍
Iridil
That's really a nice take - very classic look - really like how you did the base as well... adds to the effect of it being in a dark cave
Gantrell
nice, just enough contrast to keep it interesting
