Losferwords
I have no idea what this is, other than a giant class. I don't know what line it's from or anything about it... EDIT: It may not even be a giant, I don't know. It could be a games workshop Ogre. Edited June 29, 2022 by Losferwords Editing

Fencig
cool mini, but no idea what it is. I'm currently trying to collect all the metal giants ever made, so I've looked at close to all the ones listed on lost minis wiki, and i've never seen this one. I'm wondering if it's either A Dwarf cast in 50mm or 75mm scale ? A " Dwarven Giant" like the one released by Grenadier (and a few others i believe) any marks on the bottom?
Inarah
It looks surprisingly refined for a 1980's product. Is there a date or any markings on the bottom?

It may be a Dwarven Giant... For scale. He gave me this Firlbog, the... other thing with the bat wings and this giant (all metal) to paint for him. The dwarf is a current Reaper mini. Fencig
The Firbolg looks fantastic, nice paint job. A classic Ral Partha piece. from this angle it looks even morel like a Dwarf, I mean who else braids their beard like that. with no marks at all on the bottom, it could also be a game piece, although hard to imagine a game piece that big.
alchemist
I don't know what the giant is, but the "thing with the bat wings" is MM48 Manticore from Grenadier's Monster Manuscript range.

Lidless Eye
"Thursir Giant" from EffinCoolMiniatures, part of their line from the "Tome of Beasts" book from Kobold Press. Not 1980s, came out the last year or so. 3

Also - does anyone know what the pantaloons looking things are on his left leg??? Edited June 30, 2022 by Losferwords

Quote Heavily armored and carrying two rune-marked hammers, a thursir giant’s reddish hair and beard are often plaited in the style of an enormous dwarf. Thursir stand nine feet tall and weigh 600 lb. 10 minutes ago, Losferwords said: Thank you!! I'll let my friend know. He paid for a mystery box thing on eBay with assorted 1980's DnD minis in it. Also - does anyone know what the pantaloons looking things are on his left leg??? Giants are often portrayed as wearing clothing that is a mishmash of fabrics, presumably plundered from their victims bodies or dwellings (fabric tent or pavilion). That's my best guess.

I'm going to guess slashing & puffing like Landsknecht hosen, Thursir are pretty civilized. The art it's based off is in B&W: 1
Cranky Dog
Wow, if it were from the 80's, it would've been a top tier model for that style. Now that I know the name, Google brought me back to Reaper's forum KS page: Kobold Press Bestiary - A Collection Of Fantasy Miniatures from late 2016. 1
