Rogal Dorn - just another warhammer piece

Got another one of these done for a friend.  Wrote the challenge with these larger models, but i feel really good about how he turned out.

Looks good! My favorite parts would be the freehand on the cape and the battle scene base

@ReapingBuffaloi wish i could claim that cape as freehand. A lot of the warhammer stuff is emossed on the model. i mean, it's not easy to paint them, but it's not freehand (wish i could).

All the same, you did a really good job painting in that cape detail. You should be proud. 

 

I love this guy from the top of his head to the bottom of his base. You've got so much character in that face...it's incredible. I also like how the armor still has a shine to it, but it's clear that it's seen heavy use in battle.

 

Just a stunning piece. No advice here, only praise 🙂

@Grand Slamthank you, sir!  It was a fun one to paint.  The face detail was nice on him, which made his expression easier to light up.  I tried a number of different versions of nmm, but ended up going with the bronze and silver.  I am very happy with this one.  Really makes me smile to hear others do too.  Thank you!
