I've got one!

Which do you pick, and why?

Wait... which one did Neo pick? I'm not sure I want to see the inner workings of the Matrix.

Actually, I'd pick blue door. Being 20 years old with 40 years wisdom would be great. I'd love to kick past me in the butt and tell her to finish university. Get a degree in geology/geography/earth sciences. See the great outdoors, get paid for it. Or tell high school me that you would have been an amazing internet programmer, and that there are plenty of girls in STEM, even back then. Having an actual career sounds nicer and nicer the older I get. I have a great fear for my future, as all I've done is labour jobs my whole life. No real trade, either. I pray either my body holds out, or the Lord is kind enough to take me before I can't work anymore.

I'm going for the Pezler style answer.  Throw on 1980's 3d glasses, they combine into one door.  Oh, and I'm bringing hubby with me, because if I'm going back in time to fix mistakes I want him to be there with me... Also he's slightly more responsible than I am, so the 10 million would hopefully last a little longer.

Regular answer would be.... Show me the money!  Doubly so if it'd USD, because then that means I get like 27% more thanks to currency conversion!  There are few mistakes I'd want a chance to fix, who knows what other oddities would wind up crossing my path if I did that, and doubly so if, well, y'know I'd wind up considering that new path to be an even bigger mistake...

Couldn't I just cheat and pick the blue door but take a list of winning lottery numbers with me?

Even if I couldn't, I'd probably still pick the blue door.

There's no major mistakes I need fixing but it would be interesting to see where my life would've gone if I'd actually tried doing something with it.

Undoing the mistakes also means undoing all the good things that came about because of them.

This.

Another red door vote.

Red door. 10 million dollars can go a long way towards making me not worry about any past mistakes. Besides, the mistakes are a part of what got me to where I am, and that's not such a bad place to be most days.

Blue door is tempting, but all those mistakes made me who I am today. That and I don't have any long lasting regrets that haunt me to this day (maybe that annoying back injury).

So I'm taking the red door. That 0.01 inch is mine!

Your official, but sickly, Quisitor specified-clarified that it was nice fresh currency. USDollars except for that one person that wanted Euros.

Q: 11 AUG

Time travel, looks like everybody thinks it’s dodgy?

How do you think it should work in fiction?  How would it work if someone did?  New alternate reality generated everytime someone time shifts? Or… The past is immutable, no matter what it won’t change? Thoughts?

Originally it was, but the service charges for the exchange rate were just so high, it's all I had left.

If there is one thing I've learned from all the time travel shenanigans in Star Trek, time is slippery, consequences are weird and paradox is bullpies.

I'd rather not mess with it; too many ways for something to go wrong..
