haldir
I thought maybe it was male myself, until I seen the angle on warstore.net. The protusion of the breastplate looks like a small chested female. But then again we know there is no such thing in minidom he he Heck male or female it's a neat mini, puttin a order in for one right now!! Qwyksilver
Maybe it is a slightly pudgy male elf, with saggy pecs in need of the "Bro" or was that the "Mansierre." I loved that Seinfeld episode.
Yoshi
This reminds me of the "Guess the sculpter" contest in the greens-now it's guess the gender. Then again, I've seen people in the real world where you couldn't tell either.

And, beleive it or not there are a 'few' small chested minis out there. I have the Ral partha male and female elven thieves set, and the female is very slight in figure and chest size. Which is one of the reasons I have kept it for so long becuase it IS different. LT
CM_
Huh. The thought had never occurred to me that it may be a male miniature. I'm looking at it right now and, while not huge, the breastplate definitely has some feminine curve to it. I prefer my elven women small-chested like this. Dwarf women, on the other hand... I won't go there.
FirstLevelFighter
Based on her face, hair, build, and armor/costume, I'd say she's a female. I agree, it never occurred to me that this figure was a male. I've only seen her through the blister and in the online gallery, but she still looks female to me. Great figure, though, can't wait to see one painted.

Gabe
Scott, Rick and myself were talking about this figure at Gamewyze on sunday... without a doubt, it looked female to me, when I first looked at it (Rick had just purchased the figure. The name, the face, and the chest plate all looked female, as well as the rest of the proportions.
Mourningcloud
wow its so funny this thread came up-i bought this mini two days ago at my flgs, and i asked for that new male elf fighter. one employee told me they were out of it, then another said all they were only out of a new female elf fighter mini. turns out it was this one, and i told the second guy it was male, and he cocked an eyebrow at me and told me with no room for argument that it was female. finally having it in hand, i see he was right. greenstuff side note-i am planning in making her BREASTplate into an armored breastplate with pectoral dilineation through the magic of a little filing and greenstuff manipulation. great mini either sex, though. Lady Tam
Interesting, and Loryn is a varation of the name Loren, which can be a male or female name. So a good choiuce of names, and people can kind of take it how they want. Very interesting, now how to paint him...er her...er it. Eitherway it is nice to see a figure that can be a slender female, let's see some more! LT
Darkstar
I added more hair to her head, on the right side where the hairlines is to make her appear more feminine without the receding hairline effect. I added hair just by using milliput and hopefully it will look more female after I paint her.
