Monsters From Miskatonic

On the left are two Flying Polyps.  On the right are 2 nightgaunts.  All from Cthulhu: Death May Die.  Painted using Army Painter Speed Paints, over a flat grey primer.

Below left is a monster from the City of the Ancients (Shadows of Brimstone).  Army painter Speed Paints over a rattle can zenithal highlight.  Extensive work to fill in all the gaps!

 

Below right is a Dimensional Shambler from Cthulhu:Death May Die.  Army Painter Speed Paints over a rattle can zenithal highlight.  Done in 2 hours.

I love the Speed Paints!  I haven't tried them through an airbrush, can't wait to try that next!

More nightmares:

 

A brain monster from Reaper!  AP Speed Paints over a flat grey primer.  Highlighted the brain with AP Brainmatter Biege (acrylic paint).  Bumps and tentacle hooks picked out with acrylic paint.  The Borkug is from Chuthulu:Death May Die.  AP Speed Paints over a rattle can zenithal primer layer.
