GETTING TO KNOW YOU SEPTEMBER 2022

 

Alright citizen take a seat in that comfy chair, don't mind those wristbands and that strange helmet you're going to wear....this won't hurt ( much).

Now spill it! We have ways to make you talk...

 

Basic Rules:

( Don't pretend you're going to follow these, we both know better than that, right?)

 

1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question.

1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and post one... 

2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
3. Questions are going to be posted between 8:00 hours and 12:00 hours CET. ( Central European Time) ( I'm Dutch remember?).
4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to me... 
5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why can be fun...unless TMI).
7. Weekend questions will usually take the form of two or three day quests, starting on Friday or Saturday.

1) Same thing we do every night pinky. Try to take over the world

2)It's meant to be raining tomorrow and saturday, so I'm planning on doing nothing...although I did break my ratchet the other day so I might go out and get a new one...Sunday I'll probably be building fences

Going to try to get together with the Un-Convention-al if I can. I have somehow pulled off a 5 day weekend that starts tomorrow, so I'm going to try to clean up my hobby space and work on my Horus Heresy models. Maybe do some 3D printing if I'm in the mood.

Today I'm working in my actual, away from home office for the first time in a while. Freaking quiet in here. I'll be spending the weekend at home maybe doing some hobbying and a bit of housework. Probably brew some beer and do some baking. I've been wanting to try making hot pepper scones. My wife got hit by a car recently, she's doing okay, but we're not doing much of anything for a while until she gets full mobility back. Maybe if I finish painting something I'll even post it here.

 

Why am I not going? Plenty of reasons. We had actually planned on going but decided against it this year. Maybe next year, we'll see.

The last multiday miniature convention I attended was almost fifty years ago. I have developed a solitary life style aka hermit; SO, even when I was living in Texas, I never really worked up the enthusiasm to go to ReaperCon.

 

I will be pretty much be doing the usual thing; i.e., painting, sculpting, taking some pics, the usual.

I don't hang out here all that much anymore. I will, in all probability, not notice a lack of activity...the place isn't as active as it once was anyway.

1. I'm  not on the forums too much on weekends anyway, usually.  I'm hoping to get some more work on my hobby area done, and maybe even get some stuff primed.

2. Working today and tomorrow.  Long weekend for us this weekend.  Not a lot planned, which is ideal for me.  

3. Main reason, my back.  I didn't even look at going.  Once it is fixed I may finally get down, one of these years.....

Well. As one of the abandoned... >.>

Paint, see if I can't find the time and spoons to be social while painting (as good an excuse as any to fiddle with my set up). 

Don't really have specific plans for the weekend, although I have the back end of a stream I need to finish setting up...

 

Why am I not there?
