.... barring Murphy shoving his oar in ... I'm going. When do we leave?

Shoot me his address, I have a box that a cat is no longer using to stuff him in.....

To the best of my knowledge, not yet.

Not that I heard.  This was I think the last year on the initial contract with the Embassy, but if renegotiations have been done nobody's said anything yet.
As much as I'd love to see ReaperCon back on Halloween weekend, I know Labor Day works pretty well for a lot of people so who knows....

I already have my (very first) diorama concept sketched out. It hit my brain while hanging out in the airport during my layover, and since I didn't have paper and couldn't find a store selling journals, I bought a postcard and doodled it onto the back of that. I had to capture the inspiration before it leaked away!

Huzzah!

Do we have an actual announcement of the next con’s dates?

I have no idea of the official dates and venue, but for now I'll plan as if it was still at the Hilton Embassy Suite during Labor Day weekend (Thu Aug 31 to Sun Sept 3).

Just saw on Discord that Jon said on a tour that they had one year left on contract.

At one point, I had my vacation time planned out five years in advance. Mostly to ensure I had enough to take off for Japan. But now with 25 years with the company, my vacation time is accrued faster than I can actually take it. I mean, I could fall behind on tasks at work, but that’s not something my brain enjoys.
